The Home Video Hustle

Oh, we saved the best for last this year. To end the Christmas marathon AND the year 2022, we about to be Trappin' 4 Christmas! This is a Tubi classic that somehow no one has reviewed yet online and we are about to change that! We also talk about St. Ides, the terrible weather in Ohio, dice games and Cameron explains why Santa Claus is creepy. We hope you enjoy the show and Happy New Year! All Our...

Merry Christmas! To celebrate the occasion, we went back to the homies at Maverick Movies to see what new hotness they have put out! We saw the title and had to see what this one was about. We also talk about a lot of music, Bounty commercials, Charles S Dutton, Mortal Kombat, local restaurants and old YouTube poop videos. We hope you enjoy the episode and the holiday. It's an episode of firsts! The first double feature and the first time our cousin Andrew is with us on the show. Cameron, Chris, Andrew and I all grew up together, so the full family lineup is happening, and Cameron got SUPER drunk for the occasion. Chris redeems himself with more bars for you, Andrew has beef with TikTok dancers, Cameron says one crazy thing after another all episode, and I get r...

Oh yeah, it's time to Die Hard once again for Christmas and for the second week in a row, this is one that Chris has never seen before. People never really talk much about this sequel but i've always liked this one. Find out if Cameron and Chris will enjoy this sequel and also hear us talk about Space Jam 2, Commando, Star Wars, we debate over which Toy Story movie is better, Cameron is super drun...

It's Christmas time on the Home Video Hustle! To start, we had to watch a movie that Cameron requested, and Chris has actually never seen before! It's been a while since I've seen it as well, so let's see if childhood nostalgia will prevail. Cameron REALLY had a lot to say about Tim Curry and the Pigeon Lady in the film, Chris has a Netflix recommendation, Cameron and I tell a story about Chicago...

Cameron is ready to face his fears once again and watch the next Freddy movie! This is considered by many to be the worst of the bunch so maybe this can be the one to cure him of his Freddy phobia. Or it could just bore him to sleep. We also discuss Miniclip.com, Seaman, Morbius, The Proud Family and we take a look back at all the movies we've watched for the Halloween Hustle this year and give ou...

You didn't read that wrong, PJ is back and since we both saw Wakanda Forever, I figured we may as well hit the mics while he came by to chill. You know how these things go though, we talk about the movie, I catch PJ up on what's been going on since he hasn't been around, I give him a ton of songs to add to his playlists and we just chill like we always do. We hope you enjoy the show! All Our Links...

They didn't pick this one last week so I had to bring it back this time. This was one of my favorite episodes to record in a while. They had no idea what was coming in this movie and I even broke out the voice recorder to catch their reactions to the ending and you will not want to miss that! We also talked about being Team Leatherface, PBS shows, Miami Bass, more stories from childhood, camp stor...

This is a first time viewing for Chris, was very curious to see if he will also consider this a horror classic like most do or if he will think it's TRRRASSSHHH. It had been a long time since I saw this original Leatherface joint and it was fun to go back and get this Hustle on. Also in the episode, Chris and I give our quick review of Halloween Kills and we talk about colored VHS tapes, lots of 9...

Month two of Halloween Hustlin' begins here and we inch ever so closely to reviewing porn. Nightmare Sisters is a straight to video film from David DeCoteau and starring Linnea Quigley, Brinke Stevens and Michelle Bauer. A staple of late night shows like Up All Night on the USA Network, will it hit for the Hustlers in 2022? Let's find out together! Also in the episode we talk about the Spice Girls...

The first month of Halloween Hustlin' ends with some Patreon love! Justine from The Superiority Complex Podcast requested that we watch Demon Knight. I am a die-hard Tales from the Crypt fan but had never seen this before, neither have Cameron or Chris. We had A LOT of fun with the movie this week, we talked about the Friday movies, Usher and his confessions, our favorite horror films, Pokemon, Ba...

I had an idea this week. Last week we did the original Amityville Horror and we laughed and joked about how no Black people were in the movie because we know to stay out of houses like that. Well, I wanted to see if I could prove myself wrong this week because Bones is all about Black homies not getting out of a house telling them to get out! This was a real fun episode to record and I have both C...

Cameron and I are on the mic this week and for this episode of the Halloween Hustle, I decided we should watch a classic film that neither of us have seen before. I have always heard talk about The Amityville Horror but is it really a classic, or do people just remember it being a movie that came out back in the 70s? Tune in and we'll get to the bottom of it. We also imagine what the next Indiana...

The Halloween Hustle for 2022 begins today and this movie has been a LONG time coming. I would see this VHS box in the video store all the time as a kid and now, I finally get to see what it's all about. Chris and Cameron are here with me and we have fun like usual talking about the movie and also the F.E.A.R. video game series, Nick Cannon, Goosebumps, Brett Farve, DJ Akademiks, Adam Sandler movi...

The Homie Mike Bagford joins me this week to watch an early George Clooney flick, where he plays a crack smoking drug dealer and doesn't do much else. This may be one of the biggest bait and switches in HVH history, that trailer LIED! Mike also gets a chance to talk some rock and roll and I talk about one of my biggest pet peeves with cars. Enjoy the show! Learn more about your ad choices. Visit m...

It's not the Van Damme flick (we covered that one years ago) and it's not that TRRRRAASSSSHHH Chun-Li movie either! This week we watch Sonny Chiba rip dudes nuts off, crack skulls and wear some fly goggles. Chris and Cameron definitely had some opinions about this one I didn't expect so grab an apple, punch some dudes so hard in the stomach that they throw up and please, enjoy the show! All Our Li...

For years you have heard me tell the stories of how terrified my brother Cameron is of Freddy Kruger and The Nightmare on Elm Street films. Well, today he decided to finally face his fears, sit down with Chris and I and face his fears. This is a big day folks! Now let's see if he makes it through the whole movie and if he does, will he want to keep going into the sequels?... All Our Links - https:...

Master P makes yet another appearance on the show and this time he's in the director's chair! There was actually some good action in this one, but will the plot match up and will Sillk the Shocker make a better lead than he did back in Corrupt? Chris and Cameron are with me this week and it was a fun time as usual. We had some beers, laughed about Uncle Ben, Chris and Cameron know police codes and...

Cameron and I are big fans of the Resident Evil series, so we wanted to check this out and see if it deserves all the hate it got when it came out. It isn't like the older movies and actually follows the games, so it has to be better right? Cameron also talks about doing cinnamon challenges and Mortal Kombat, I show that I know nothing about dogs and we both learn a valuable lesson about using our...

It's just Brent on the mic this week and since that's the case, we needed a movie that would give a lot to talk about and this one actually kinda delivered! Shriek of the Mutilated is a pure Vinegar Syndrome movie that gives perfect b-movie vibes. You may be surprised about this one. You also get to hear about Trix oatmeal, Jiffy Pop, turkey carvers and all the sexual innuendos you come to expect...

Cameron had his choice of any movie out of the Shaw Scope Vol. 1 box set and he chose Chinatown a kid, a film that neither of us had seen before. The convo goes all over this week as we discuss the movie and also Popeyes, amber alerts, Sega Genesis music, Mortal Kombat, Lightyear, Cameron tells his insidious story and LOTS of hip hop discussions are had. We hope you enjoy the show! All Our Links -...

Brendan is back on the show this week after a long break of buying houses and dogs and he wanted to watch Hard Rock Zombies! This was a real fun episode and I definitely made use of the soundboard this week and we REALLY liked one of the songs from the movie. We also talk about wrestling, the MCU, The Munsters trailer, Eddie Murphy stand-up specials, the difference between hard rock and metal, 007...

I was in the mood for another Maverick Movie this week and I went and let Cameron pick from three trailers of freshly released movies and this was what he picked. Lots of fun is had this week as we talk A LOT about music, watch a bit of Cheaters and laugh at a famous movie scene that definitely was not supposed to be funny. We hope you enjoy the show! (Ending Song: Love by Trade Voorhees) All Our...

I was upstairs playing the Lawnmower Man video game on my Super Nintendo and Cameron asked what it was, I told him it was based on a movie, he had never heard of it, so here we are! For the review we watched the director's cut, which adds in about 40 extra minutes of footage! Let's see if it was worth it. Along the way, Cameron gets drunk, we reminisce about Goosebumps, more childhood stories are...

Brent is rollin' solo this week and was in the mood for a Maverick Movie, so why not catch a new release? Makin' Moves is a fresh new addition and definitely has some stuff to talk about. Things like auto subtitles, cracked iphones, NBA2K, shower sex, Henessey and you get to hear a lot of Trade Voorhees music this episode. We hope you enjoy the show!
