When God Restores Us 7: If the Lord Had Not Been on Our Side 06.10.2026

Psalm 124 invites us to remember the quiet, steady ways God has carried us through danger and fear. In Christ, God delivers us from sin and death and stands with us in every trial. Our help has always been in the name of the Lord, and His faithfulness restores us still.

When God Restores Us 6: He Lifted Me Up Again 29.09.2026

Psalm 116 gives voice to someone who has come through deep trouble and discovered again that the Lord hears, rescues, and restores. The psalmist remembers how close death came, yet celebrates the God who bends low, delivers, and brings him back to life. Restored by grace, he steps forward with renewed trust, ready to “walk before the Lord in the land of the living.”

When God Restores Us 5: The God Who Forgives 22.09.2026

Psalm 103 celebrates God’s compassion and the forgiveness that renews our lives. In Christ, God removes our sins as far as the east is from the west. His steadfast love restores us and teaches us to live in mercy.

When God Restores Us 4: New Songs for New Mercies 15.09.2026

Psalm 98 calls all creation to sing a new song because of God’s saving work. In Jesus Christ, God’s salvation breaks into the world with joy that cannot be contained. His mercy gives us a new song to sing and a new hope to share.

When God Restores Us 3: The Lord Reigns 08.09.2026

Psalm 93 declares that God’s reign is unshakable even when our world feels unstable. Christ, the risen King, rules with power, peace, and steadfast love. His victory anchors our lives and restores our confidence.

When God Restores Us 2: Create in Me a Clean Heart 01.09.2026

Psalm 51 reveals our deep need for God’s mercy and the renewal only He can give. In Jesus Christ, God meets our sin with forgiveness and our brokenness with transforming grace. The Spirit creates in us a clean heart and restores the joy we cannot restore on our own.

When God Restores Us 1: He Drew me up from the Pit 25.08.2026

Psalm 40 proclaims that God rescues us when we cannot rescue ourselves. Christ is the One who lifts us from the pit of sin and sets our feet on solid ground. In Him, God gives us a new song of praise and a new life of hope.

When Life Falls Apart 5: Hope in the Dark 18.08.2026

The psalmist preaches to his own soul, and Christ becomes the ultimate reason hope can speak in the dark. Jesus is the light who comes to us when our tears are our food and our memories feel like loss. Because He is our salvation and our God, we can keep singing even before the dawn arrives.

When Life Falls Apart 4: The Valley of Shadows 12.08.2026

Psalm 88 plunges us into a darkness where God seems silent, yet Christ Himself entered that deepest night on the cross. Jesus carries our unanswered prayers and our wordless grief, refusing to abandon us even when we cannot sense His presence. In Him, the valley is no longer a dead end but a place where resurrection light will one day break in.

When Life Falls Apart 3: When Enemies Surround 04.08.2026

When threats close in, the psalmist looks to God as fortress—and Christ becomes that fortress in flesh and blood. Jesus faced the ultimate enemies of sin, death, and evil, standing firm where we could not. Because He is our stronghold, we can wait with confidence for His steadfast love to meet us at dawn.

When Life Falls Apart 2: Naming Our Fears 28.07.2026

The psalmist names his terror honestly, and Jesus meets us there as the One who faced His own hour of dread in Gethsemane. Christ does not shame our fear but carries it, transforming panic into prayer. In Him, we discover that the God who hears our trembling also holds our future.

A Weight of Glory in Jars of Clay 14.07.2026

When we are troubled, weakened, perplexed, even persecuted, how can we have spiritual and emotional health? Let’s explore what our present troubles look like from Heaven’s eyes. These troubles that assail us now are temporary, even light, in comparison to the Heavenly glory that awaits us. Further, Jesus calls us to lean into the fact that our present troubles are preparing for us this eternal wei...

Faith & Wisdom in a Challenging World 07.07.2026

James is a gritty letter. Its agenda is evident in the opening chapter, which sets out a series of important topics that need to be tackled if God’s people are going to live well in an often demanding world. These topics include faith and wisdom, which are crucial in dealing with two of life’s biggest challenges: poverty and wealth, and testing and suffering.

When Life Feels Steady 4: The Shepherd Who Leads 30.06.2026

Christ is the Good Shepherd who leads us with tenderness, provides for us with abundance, and walks with us through every shadowed valley. His cross proves that no darkness can separate us from His care. In Him we dwell securely, guided by mercy and welcomed into the house of the Lord forever.

When Life Feels Steady 3: Grounded in the God Who Holds Me 23.06.2026

Jesus is the Lord who secures our refuge, our portion, and our future, anchoring us in a hope that cannot be shaken. Because He did not see decay but rose in victory, we are held in a life that death cannot steal. In His presence we discover fullness of joy and the path of life that leads us home.

When Life Feels Steady 2: The God Who Lifts Us Up 16.06.2026

Sometimes we lose sight of who God is and who we are before Him, especially in difficult seasons. Creation lifts our eyes to God’s majesty, yet Scripture shows that this majestic God stoops low in love, caring for us and giving us a dignified place in His world. Though we often fail in our calling as faithful caretakers, Jesus fulfills it perfectly, and in Him we step into the exalted life God int...

When Life Feels Steady 1: The Blessed Life 09.06.2026

The blessed life is rooted not in our striving but in Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh, who becomes our true stream of living water. In Him we bear fruit that endures even when life feels steady or uncertain. Christ stands as the righteous One whose steadfastness becomes our stability and joy.

On Earth as in Heaven 3: The New Heaven & Earth 09.06.2026

The series culminates with the moment heaven descends and God makes His dwelling with humanity. This is the ultimate fulfillment of the prayer Jesus taught us: God’s will done on earth as in heaven. It’s a vision of hope, healing, and new creation that sends the church back into the world with courage and joy.

On Earth as in Heaven 2: Worship on Earth as in Heaven 09.06.2026

Pentecost celebrates the Spirit who draws the church into the worship of heaven. Revelation 4 lifts the veil so we can see the throne at the center of all things—and learn to order our lives, our worship, and our mission around the One seated there.

On Earth as in Heaven 1: Seeing Christ as Heaven Sees Him 19.05.2026

Heaven’s perspective begins not with beasts or battles but with the risen Christ standing among His churches. This opening vision anchors the whole series in the truth that Jesus is already present, already reigning, and already holding His people fast.

The Story that Shapes Us 7: Alive After All: The Joy of Reconciliation 12.05.2026

Joseph’s revelation to his brothers transforms fear into joy and guilt into forgiveness. What they meant for evil, God used to preserve life and restore a broken family. In the risen Christ, God reveals Himself to us in the same way—alive after all, bringing reconciliation to the world.

The Story that Shapes Us 6: From the Pit to the Palace 05.05.2026

Joseph’s descent into betrayal, slavery, and prison becomes the surprising path through which God raises him to life‑giving authority. His story mirrors the pattern of Christ, who descends into suffering and is exalted for the salvation of many. In Joseph, we see that God’s resurrection power is already at work long before Easter morning.

The Story that Shapes Us 5: A Stairway from Heaven to Earth 28.04.2026

Jacob, alone and on the run, discovers that God meets sinners not in holy places but in their wilderness. The ladder reveals heaven opened, not by human striving but by divine descent. Jesus later declares Himself the true and living stairway, the One through whom God’s presence comes near.

The Story that Shapes Us 4: The Lord Will Provide 21.04.2026

Abraham’s agonizing journey up Mount Moriah becomes a window into the heart of God, who provides the substitute sacrifice. The story points forward to the greater Son who carries the wood of His own offering and is given back from death. In the Easter season, we see that God’s provision is not abstract—it is Christ Himself.

The Story that Shapes Us 3: Called into a New Future 14.04.2026

In Genesis 12:1–7, God calls Abram to leave what is familiar and step into a future shaped not by his own plans but by God’s promise, presence, and blessing. In the risen Christ, that same call comes to us: the God who raised Jesus from the dead invites us into a new life marked by trust, obedience, and a hope that reaches beyond what we can see. The story that shapes us is a story of resurrection...
