FSAN doelen van VGV projecten is het veranderen te weg bregen binnen gemeenschappen waar VGV voorkomt door de centrale rollen de sleutelpersonen hebben zichtbaar te maken en het strekt possioneering op lokale niveaus.

FSAN speelt sinds eind jaren ‘90 een centrale rol in de bestrijding van Vrouwelijke Genitale Verminking (VGV) in Nederland. De inzet van FSAN was vooral gericht op voorlichting en preventie binnen de risicogroepen.

De rol van de sleutelpersoon en de werkwijze binnen gemeenschappen
