We embody the goodness of God as we submit to Jesus as Lord for the sake of others. When Moses encountered God's goodness and glory, his face became radiant. Through Jesus Christ, we experience something even greater: lasting transformation through the Holy Spirit. Jesus reveals who God is, removes the veil that keeps us from seeing Him clearly, and brings us into the freedom of life with Him. As...

God's goodness is revealed in both His justice and His mercy - through Jesus Christ's death and resurrection God provides forgiveness and new life, and having received His mercy we overcome evil with good: repenting, showing mercy to those who wrong us, and pursuing justice for others.

Grace is God's undeserved goodness given to us in Jesus - free to us, but costly to Christ - and grace received becomes grace given as we forgive others from the heart.

When I submit to Jesus as Lord, I seek to understand what others are experiencing and respond for their good - empathy sees and enters another person's experience, and compassion moves us to act.

Church hurt is real because every church is made up of people who still struggle with sin. We can hold onto hurt or cause hurt when we lose sight of God’s goodness, ignore our own sinful desires, or fail to reflect His character in the way we treat one another. Jesus fully reveals God’s goodness and shows us the life we were created to live. He did more than set an example we could never reach on...

God created everything good because creation reflects its Creator—and God alone is good. Human sin began by doubting God’s goodness. Sin distorted our view of God and one another, bringing suffering and death. God did not abandon His creation. He revealed Himself to Moses as compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, forgiving sin, and administering justice. Isr...

What do you do when the battle in front of you is bigger than the strength inside of you? Jehoshaphat shows us a battle rhythm: seek God, pray, fast, bow, worship, praise, then advance in obedience. The battle belongs to the LORD. Praise does not make God King; it declares that He is King. Worship surrenders our posture before Him. When the diagnosis, report, relationship, or opposition feels bigg...

What if the greatest threat to your faith is not that the enemy is stronger, but that he can convince you to fight alone? Jesus has already secured the victory, yet Scripture warns that we have an adversary who seeks to distract, divide, tempt, and devour. Like the builders in Nehemiah 4, God has given each of us a mission, a sector, something to build, and people to stand beside us. We were never...

we must gather together to love and relate with one another in the same ways Jesus Christ loved and relates with us.

There is always a way to respond in worship.

Jesus Christ’s love for me motivates me to use whatever influence, power, and resources He has entrusted to me to BLESS others.

God’s story in me is the story I will unashamedly share.

To have Jesus is to have life’s greatest good. That frees me to give generously.

I practice the rhythm of repentance because I know the mercy and love of the Father.

Prayer is humble submission to God’s will and dependence upon His mercy and grace because my faith is rooted in Who God is.

God transforms me as I read His word, believe it, and live by it daily.

Those who have faith in the resurrection of Jesus are revolutionaries who change the world.

I can be a true friend to others only when I am secure in Christ.

God uses the need in front of us to wake up the gift inside of us.

I will risk what I have when I have confidence in what I’ve received.

The mirror I look into shapes who I become.

I am empowered to stand fully equipped and ready as I hide God’s Word in my heart.

I memorize Scripture to seek God’s face and live as a fully alive disciple of Jesus.

The Holy Spirit empowers the body of Christ with spiritual gifts for the good of others and to advance the Kingdom of God.

The outcome of belonging to Jesus Christ is the Holy Spirit producing the character of Christ in me.
