The Foreign Saint's Podcast

For Christians who feel like foreigners among their peers. Deconstructing myths surrounding Christianity to help you construct a life that is obedient to King Jesus the Messiah and dissecting desires to test what is truly in us. To use this platform as a means to glorify God and make disciples for Jesus of all nations. This is Christianity presented authentically, vulnerably, hopefully, triumphantly, faithfully, and in a way I pray the one true God would call lovely.

Answering Zachary: Defending the Transmission and Authority of the Scriptures 28.10.2023

The second in an on-going series called "Answering" where I take an entire podcast episode to answer questions and objections to the faith. Be warned, I also strike back with my own questions as well. This episode is for my buddy Zachary and any who has his same objection: that man tampered with the bible unknowingly through bias.

Answering Rebecca: The Gender Identity of God 16.10.2023

We have returned to the web! Starting a new ongoing series called Answering where I take one entire podcast episode to answer questions, objections, and concerns from Christians and or non-Christians, usually friends in my life who I have conversations with over different social media platforms. I hope to encourage my brothers and sisters in the faith to engage people in love online and in person...

God Loved Sodom and Gomorrah- The Tragic Tale of Eden's Sequel! 23.09.2023

Karai tells the story of God's love rejected by Sodom and Gomorrah. So often the story is only their homosexuality. I do my best to pull the curtain back a bit more on their other sins and show God's loving pursuit of them in Genesis. We ought to learn from their example that God's love is the option to take over predatory covetousness and perverse sexual pleasures. Also, an argument u...

Kidnapped at Gun Point In Mexico's Jungles for Jesus! 16.09.2023

Back to sitting at the feet of the persecuted church. Today we hear the story of a couple in rural Mexico that suffered kidnapping and beatings for their stand for Christ. Condemning the Guiltless: Neglecting the Justice and Love of God 12.09.2023

A concept so irritating to the Pharisees that they instantly went into planning mode for how to kill Jesus over it. We forget this to our peril but Jesus littered the Gospels with this teaching. For what reasons do we neglect the justice and love of God? In a few words: greed, wickedness, covetousness. Christ's Kingdom works totally different. Listen in to see how! Enjoy!

Mosquito Infested Ministry: The Door of Blessing Closed For the Kingdom 26.08.2023

What can we as foreign saints in this world learn from this mans example? A simple lesson; our life is not our own. Suicide Bomber Saved During Service! Love Your Enemies and Neighbors! 02.08.2023

A much needed encouragement in the area of loving our "enemies." It's a command of Christ that brings the teeth and power of the cross into this world in a way that the outside world does not even desire to replicate. Be challenged by the story of a pastor praying for a suicide bomber during service and baptizing him as well as a trip through Matthew and Luke's sermon on the moun...

The Duggars, Satan, and Theology: Only Jesus Slays the Dragon! 20.07.2023

The Duggars, family behind 21 Kids and Counting, have been the subject of controversy of late due in part to the teaching that the family held to. Karai and Meredith share thoughts on and around the topic of the show and the family. We use the Duggars and Bill Gothards teaching as a case study in two of the prominent dangers of hyper-conservative theology: 1) Believing any earthly might stands a c...

Above it all, I challenge us all to get real about...

A Wake Up Call On Coveting: The Sin That Kills Soft and Slow 14.07.2023

Coveting is one of those sins that we hear rumor about at most in our day in America. It's quite possible to exist as a Christian for a long time and not hear clear teaching on the danger of coveting. This episode is not an exhaustive study by any means but I hope it turns the light on in all of us to take this sin as the lethal sleeper agent that it is. You want to be usedul in the Kingdom. S...

The Slave Bible and The Mark of the Beast: Sacrificing the Scriptures at the Altar of the State 08.01.2023

From bad versions of the bible like the slave bible and we the people bibles to getting to know what the mark of the beast really is we show that lifting the values of your home nation over the values of the Kingdom of God is opposite how we as Christians are called to live. In an idolatrously political climate it can be an unpopular truth to remind ourselves of but if we're going to serve our Kin...

This episode should set the pace for discussions around all the ways the Gospel moves us away from the worlds ways and into the flourishing of the life and freedom of children of God. We...
