The Foreign Saint's Podcast

For Christians who feel like foreigners among their peers. Deconstructing myths surrounding Christianity to help you construct a life that is obedient to King Jesus the Messiah and dissecting desires to test what is truly in us. To use this platform as a means to glorify God and make disciples for Jesus of all nations. This is Christianity presented authentically, vulnerably, hopefully, triumphantly, faithfully, and in a way I pray the one true God would call lovely.

Jesus's Transfiguration & Apostle Peter's Commentary | Matthew 16:24-17:13 | Old Testament Prophecy 27.11.2024

Saint K explores the authority of Jesus and the significance of the transfiguration. We go to the writings of Apostle Peter for clarity on what God wants us to learn from this event and show why skeptics read this passage wrong. This is another study where I hope you see the thorough connectedness of the Old and New Testament, understanding that Christianity IS true Judaism. 00:00 Introduction 03:...

The Kind Bully: A Study in the Weaponization of Empathy | Abortion | LGBT 18.11.2024

A kind bully? Is that even possible? I think the social aftermath of this election has revealed that many people who claim to be kind, empathetic, and loving are actually deceiving themselves about their own character. This episode will explore the bible's handling of empathy and compassion so that we foreign saints can be more faithful to our God and train us to better engage the lost and dying w...

Does the Bible Guide Christians on Voting? | The Gospel and Democracy | Trump Victory 2024 07.11.2024

The question is as old as the country itself, but, considering the apostles & prophets did not live in a democracy they couldn't have given us any relevant scripture on this topic...or could they? Would they tell us to vote republican, democrat, or perhaps show us how that very question sets us up for failure? Additionally, I bring a challenge and invitation to ethnic minority Christians who m...

Binding and Loosing, Keys to the Kingdom, and Peter Being the Rock | Matthew 16:13-23 | Catholicism 04.11.2024

A section of scripture that divides multiple different sects of Christianity while being a heretics playground is our target today. I've seen commentaries skimp on this passage before but you know Foreign Saints will deep dive it. Is Peter being declared Pope here? Does this passage threaten the idea of sola scriptura? The answer to these different topics will deeply impact how you read your New T...

Choosing Blindness When You're Smart Enough to See | Matthew 16:1-12 | Jesus Says be Foreign Saints! 26.10.2024

Jesus had a lot to say the Pharisees and Sadducees. Together they represented conservative and liberal theology gone wrong and Jesus said both groups were evil and adulterous because of how much evidence and clear teaching they rejected. Are you rejecting something that deep down you know God has revealed in the scriptures? My challenge and invitation is stop being intellectually dishonest about t...

Why Did Jesus Call the Woman a Dog? | Matthew 15:21-39 | Satan & Tyre Passage 06.10.2024

No getting around it, Jesus referred to a woman as a dog. You can either reject it, ignore it, or learn from it. You know which option I'm going with on this show. If you want to know why Jesus did this, then listen in and have your mind blown! Enjoy and be blessed!

Hebrew Roots: The First False Gospel in the Church | Matthew 14:34-15:20 26.09.2024

The topic of religious traditions is on the docket today as we see Jesus and the traditions of the Jewish elders at the time clash. In the process I'll also explain why the food laws in the Torah are not binding on followers of Jesus today whether Jew or Gentile by surveying the New Testament writings for the teachings of the apostles on the topic as they clashed with the ancient hebrew roots move...

Jesus: The Divine Messenger of God | Matthew 14:13-33 | The Trinity 15.09.2024

Was Jesus a prophet of God or God himself? Actually, it's both! What was the true meaning behind the multiplication of 5 loaves and 2 fish? Why did Jesus walk on the water to his disciples the way that he did? Does the bible teach the trinity or was it just a New Testament invention? All that and more in this episode of Foreign Saints! Enjoy and be blessed!

Vandalizing Paradise | Transgenderism & The Gospel - 2 | Deuteronomy, Leviticus, Romans 08.09.2024

According to Dictionary.com a "vandal" is "a person who willfully or ignorantly destroys or mars something beautiful or valuable." I believe that many people that struggle with and/or embrace gender fluidity fall into this category mostly out of ignorance. This episode, building on the previous, explains why God in the Torah, and TaNaK at large, calls this an abomination. After...

My first video interview and I have Christian Ashley, host of the "Let Nothing Move You" Podcast on Spotify, on to talk about spiritual warfare with demons and his own experience with the demonic and the supremacy of Jesus over those dark powers. Enjoy and be blessed!

Herod's Hubris: Divorce and When it May Be Called For | Matthew 14:1-12 | Marriage & Divorce 27.08.2024

The divorce teaching starts at the 1:01:07 timestamp in the video. I take another look at Herod the tetrarch on this channel and meditate on what it looks like as a Christian in America to keep your religion unstained by the hypocrisy of politics and analyzing his sinful marriage as an in-roads to discuss the sinfulness of divorce and the exceptions to that rule. If you're curious about when divor...

The Undervalued Treasure | Parable Practice | Matthew 13:44-58 16.08.2024

We blitz through the last 4 parables in Matthew 13 (treasure, pearl, net, new and old treasures) and are challenged by Jesus to properly understand who he really is and our need for him. Afterward, we discuss Jesus's rejection in Nazareth and how that scene corrects catholic doctrine AND the pride of life in all of us. Enjoy and be blessed!

God Wants Everyone to Love the Body He Created | Transgenderism and the Gospel - 1 | Genesis 04.08.2024

FINALLY, the first of what should be a 4 part series on the transgenderism from a Gospel perspective. This part focuses on showing how God created male and female as distinct categories along with showing that the deeper issue is whether or not you trust God's character is good. I hope this series helps those that struggle with gender identity to fall in love with the real Jesus as well as equ...

What Jesus Will Do About Hypocrites in the Church | The Parable of the Weeds | Matthew 13:24-43 30.07.2024

As we continue our walk through parables and Matthew 13 we come into the Parable of the Weeds. Jesus puts a spin on the parable of the soils and teaches us about who who intends for his people to be and about what he intends to do about hypocrites in the church when he returns. If the topic of Christian hypocrites hits close to home or you just want clarity on how to read parables then this episod...

Do Your Ears Hear the Truth? | Parable of the Soils | Matthew 13:1-23 25.07.2024

We return to video format after a VERY LONG time and our study is in the parable of the soils in Matthew. What does the phrase "ears to hear and eyes to see" denote in scripture and what is the relation to this parable? Also, why does Jesus switch to teaching in parables now and what can we learn from it? All this and more, enjoy!

Donald Trump Shot! Avoid the Leaven of Herod! 14.07.2024

Short episode today, more reactionary as Meredith and myself give our immediate thoughts on the assassination attempt on former President Trump. Maintain the foreign nature of your Christian identity and don't yiel...

Demon Tactics and Family Matters (Matthew 12:43-50) 09.07.2024

We are talking demons today on the podcast, their nature and their tactics so that we can properly be on guard against them and false teaching. An example of that false teaching would be the catholic doctrine of Mary being sinless from conception. We also meditate on the bond of family between those that do the Father's will and why it's so important that we make our families and household...

The Unforgiveable Sin and Paul's Blasphemy (Matthew 12:15-42) 27.06.2024

What does blasphemy against the Spirit even mean and how is anything unforgiveable if Jesus died and rose? Did Jesus say this to cause anxiety or is this strange passage also somehow mercy in disguise? To complete the menu of mysteries, what is the sign of Jonah and what does a story as strange as Jonah teach me about who Jesus is? Be blessed and enjoy!

The Mark of the Beast, Tiananmen Square, and Sin-icization 15.06.2024

On the 35th anniversary of the Tiananmen Square Massacre we have a meditation on resisting the influence of the beasts in our world today. Hopefully this is the kind of message that refocuses your heart and soul on what it means to be a foreign saint in this world as we follow Jesus.

The New Way of the Sabbath (Matthew 12:1-14) 31.05.2024

What is the deal with the Sabbath? Why is it that Christians seem to follow some regulations but ignore the one about the sabbath? To answer that question we have to answer the question of who was Jesus really? The truth will bring you into the spiritual rest of soul that God desires for all people in and through Messiah. Be blessed and enjoy!

On Melting Ice and Hardening Clay (Matthew 11) 22.05.2024

Jesus and the 12 split up to cover more ground in Israel with the gospel message. John the Baptist communicates his doubts and there is a lot to learn form how Jesus deals mercifully with his doubts. The legacy of Christianity and evidence starts as early as this. We also are challenged by this chapter to not be offended by Jesus and harden our hearts to the Father as a result. Be blessed and enjo...

Jesus Wasn't Looking for Peace (Matthew 10:24-42) 15.05.2024

How is it Jesus could say he isn't here for peace when he commanded his followers in the sermon on the mount to be peacemakers? We Christians try to avoid to all conflict concerning religion sometimes but perhaps that's not our call. God is inviting each of us to be desirous to fellowship with Messiah in similar sufferings so that we can experience the unconquerable power of the Gospel. Be...
