Talking Trek: Star Trek Fleet Command

Today was a quicker show cause of how full the day was in meetings and 'stuff' we had to do today, but we did hit it hard and fast. What is DJz crazy brain cooking up now? Gul Dukat sourcing? SAY IT AIN'T SO! But is there a place for it? Also we discuss the upcoming run of incursions, issue final ratings on what SEEMS to be a highly satisfying arc per YOU, community! Where do you fall with your se...

Voyager Part 1 brought with it some significant new game mechanics and changes to economy, strategy and teamwork. Was it a successful arc? It seems like most players saw some substantial improvement in their game play while others grew more frustrated with what feels like recycled/rehashed content. Where do you fall? What movement did you make this month? Let's look at just a few of these moving p...

Today was allllll about the new primes. But instead of reacting emotionally to it today, we decide to step back and look at the math. Are they good? Is this game impacting? Is it a fix to the G5 economy and what else may come as a result? All this and more today on the show! Share with a friend and enjoy the most we've ever discussed a paid product.  Visit us online at www. UltimatDJzPlayz.com

Tonight we start on a high note with the EMH's recent weekend auction adding 4 more milestones to the Heroic SMS and offering up BIG TIME shard counts, but for a heavy heavy investment. Is this FINALLY the right model? Plus the new Multi Tier primes have GREAT net effects... but are they worth the money? Let's examine their perception and what they're doing early, vs late.  Visit us online at www....

This episode was action packed from a discussion around what is new in the Artifact Gallery and what it means for players, PLUS a deep dive into HOW to get the SPECIFIC artifacts you want, as well as how to score in not one, but TWO of the currently running events as a f2p. What is giving the best points? What is giving points that you didn't even KNOW was giving points? Tune in for some easy peas...

The Voyager arc has arrived and with it a pretty expansive new feature. Some players are liking it, and others are finding it to be a headache not worth the hassle. What are the ACTUAL benefits of these new artifacts and how do they present in the game? How do we earn them? Is this feature TOO drawn out? Listen to an expert analysis on the math, the mechanics, and the meta that is STFC's newest lo...

Let's break down what we see initially and some of the questions we have about these new targets.

Tonight we jump all over the map as if we haven't spoken in weeks about the game. So it all came bubbling out. We began with incursions and the new beta testing that Scopely ran and what we learned. What does it still take to fix? There are ideas around that, plus the event store month, legacy pt 2 comes to a close. How did players react? Did scopely miss an opportunity to do something REALLY mino...

Here we go... let's try to get back into the swing of things. a quick recap on where i've been, what i'm doing, how LA was, and the month of April, all rolled into an unprofessional, NON produced 2 hour show.... Come hang for some candid conversation and let's catch up! Visit us online at www. UltimatDJzPlayz.com for more links

Bubba continues his hosting duties for the second of 3 shows while the crew is preparing for their travels to LA this week!

DJz is on a mental health break so Bubba, Tr8r, Eirian, Aaron and the rest of the cast get together for some silliness.

Today we spent WAYYY too much time on the Titan, what it does, how it works, and what it's target audience may be. Is this a ship that Scopely EXPECTED players to buy in droves? Or is this an actual step towards future proofing Fleet Commanders? Let's dive into the numbers.  Visit us online at www. TalkingTrekSTFC.com

President Eco stops by to discuss Legacy Pt2 and what it contains and some of the insight into some of the features and buffs that were introduced this month.

Today's show dives deeply into the mechanics of how strike team captains work, and what their tangible benefit is as you tier them up. Why now? Well, the XSLB saw many players spend a great deal only to find no benefit in a tierup of Weyoun. WHY? Plus final ratings and discussion on the March Arc. Were players "satisfied?" Wrap up a great show with a hint towards April and listen to Ripper giggle....

Today on the show President Eco stopped by to deliver good news to players affected by the iOS lockout bug last month, and then compensation was discussed. Beyond that, we talk about the new rare Beverly Crusher card and how she's been corrected, and how she works. Then we'll transition into what her intent is, and HOW to maximize the parts that you can obtain while grinding! Plus Mrs DJz stops by...

Today, what I expected to be a 15-20 minute educational segment on HOW to participate in the new webstore version of the recruiting event turned into a hotly debated subject that surprised EACH side of the arguing cast. Is the event easy? Is it rewarding? Is it WORTH it? PLUS Bubba drags DJz back down into the Tal rabbit hole for another rant on Scopely latest design failure. AND to wrap up, Bubba...

Tonight's show had two distinct areas of focus, but both of them asked the same question, "Is xxx Worth It?" The first topic was Admiral Picard, this months epic officer. Use cases were presented and ways to use him INSIDE of existing PVP crews were discussed. Can he make a difference to you? There are a lot of variables, but whatever you decide, do it quickly. He's got one chance left at bulk sha...

Tonight was a laid back day in which we discussed this new "play at your own pace" weekend schedule and what happened as a result. Good idea, combined with poor implementation, HOWEVER, an idea which has tons of promise and should absolutely return imo! Plus I'M SORRY, but there may be a Picard Season 3 spoiler towards the end of the show. You'll hear it approach, and if you don't want it, you sho...

Tonight we break down the Ex-Borg faction, how to proceed through it and what its actually doing for the game. Are players happy? Is Bubba happy? PLUS changes to Weyoun and Dukat. Are they stronger now? or is EST just as weaksauce as always? And how does Picard fit into Explorer PVP now? All this and more! Sit back and enjoy the ride!  Visit our website at www. UltimatDJzPlayz.com

This morning we take our first look INSIDE the new Picard arc and see what Scopely has in store. At first glance this arc looks simple, and rewarding, so we break down what is actually here, IF it can be good for the players, and what some of Scopely's thought processes were behind the mechanics of this month, PLUS President Eco stops by for some love and snuggles. Visit our website for more at ww...

The last time we talked about grinding faction reputation was nearly 3 years ago. It's due for a revisit. What are the researches, buffs, improvements, and tools that we can use to maximize one of the most mundane chores in the game? We take a look at what bonuses are out there, as well as what crews can make a difference for you as you're chipping away towards that next rep lock.  Visit us online...

Today, CM BekLikesPlants stops by for a few minutes to share some insight into the challenges of the past month, as well as provide some updates on the calendar between the arcs as well as the current status on incursions. Shortly after though, The fur hits the fan as we begin discussing what happened during February and why SOME players found this arc very rewarding. New 'ratings' are given on th...

Tal has returned to the game after YEARS of being allegedly broken. What does he do compared to his previous impacts and is he worth it? Are there mechanics in the game that allow this 4 year old officer to shine brightly? or is it too little too late. PLUS we talk about the Tally as we wrap up this arc and prepare to issue our final ratings this coming week.  Visit us online at www. TalkingTrekST...

Tonight was the longest show on record, cause APPARENTLY there ended up being a TON to discuss, and polarity was obvious on the panel tonight. Did Scopely try to create content for everyone? If so, did they miss the mark even more than in prior months? Was the engagement 'gap' so wide that players fundamentally viewed this content differently BASED ON OPS? this is a wild ride, and we invite you to...

I've been gone for 10 days and it's been a long 10 days, and i haven't played the game. What have I missed? Ya'll tell me what I missed and we'll talk about why it was good or bad.... Seriously, I have no idea.... So enjoy the show, it contains nothing of value. Just kidding. Enjoy the listen!  Visit our website to learn more at www.talkingtrekstfc.com
