Man has always twisted the worship of God. From the worship of creatures, nature, sex and self to the true worship of God. Even when man encountered the miraculous God of heaven and did their best they managed to miss the point. Jesus when speaking to a women at the well began to refocus and redefine worship for those who would follow him. Join us as we minister on worship and the war that is bein...

We are teaching on the issue of the LGBT lifestyle. While many Christians know that God and God's word are against this lifestyle, many times we don't have a firm grasp of why God is against this lifestyle. We will discuss the harmful effects of living this lifestyle that the media won't talk about. We will also talk about how Christians should respond to those who are living this lifestyle. DISCL...

God has a message for the church, our generation and us as individuals. A message of repentance, surrender and purpose. The question isn't whether God is speaking, it's about our response. How will the church respond? More importantly how will you and I respond to God. It's our individual response to God that determines the effectiveness of the kingdom of God. In this message we will look at how p...

What does it look like when God judges a nation? Will God judge America? We can look at the bible and get a sense of what God is doing with the nations of the earth. We can see how God has dealt with nations and his own people, the children of Israel to understand the times and know what we should do. Join us for Part 4 of this sermon series.

Part Two - Signs of the times. One of the signs of the times is to watch how the nations treat Israel. The other sign of the times is the wickedness of our culture. We will look at the days of Jonah, the days of Noah and see in scripture how God would judge the sin but would always offer deliverance from his wrath. The people of Jonah's day repented, the people of Noah's day refused to repent. Is...

The church doesn't need a bunch of new preachers to hit the stage. The church doesn't need the next new big worship song. Church doesn't need the next church growth seminar. The church needs revival. The church needs some people who don't mind being a support for others, people who are encouragers, people who are able to help others connect to the local church.

In school when you saw a crowd gathering and heard chants of Fight Fight Fight you knew something was about to happen. This encouraging message is for the church of the living God. For Christians who are facing battles and growing weary. For Christians who have become self-focused or have grown dull to the things of the spirit. Many Christians have've forgotten that there is a fight going on aroun...

The culture of a church consists of things that they have normalized. The sad part is that you can normalize some bad fruit. If we aren't careful we will carry with us into the church, a culture of the sinful world and the behaviors we were raised around. The Bible says we shouldn't identify with or pattern ourselves after this world. Rather we should be transformed, changed by being in God's pres...

Many church attenders assume that they know Jesus. Many people who barely attend church at all will claim to know God. What happens to someone when they truly know Jesus? Won't their life be changed from before they knew Jesus? It's very possible that today's church has surrounded themselves with talk about Jesus and people who talk about Jesus and assumed far too much. When Jesus asked Peter the...

American gods. This message is part 2 of a 3 part sermon series. You can find more messages on Roku and our app. How do we identify idol worship in our lives? What does worshipping idols do to the Christian and their walk with God? How does it effect the common church when Christians are given over to idol worship? Parkhillsassembly.com

We wanted to come before our congregation and praise God for all the things that he's done in our church. It helps to break down all of the wins and successes that we have seen over the last year. We also wanted to take some time and cast vision for who we are and who God is calling us to be in our community.

What does the Bible say about prayer. What should prayer look like in the life of a Follower of Jesus? We are taking our time and discussing both the benefits of prayer and the practical steps to help us develop a greater prayer life.

The heroes of the faith, those that were used to cause real change in the kingdom of God were truly selfless. They weren't concerned with building a following, creating a movement. John the Baptizer could have easily started his own religion. He could have used his influence to build his own following. He chose obscurity so that he could better prepare for the redemption of Jesus Christ. God is ca...

Chasm. Luke 16:19 The divide that separated a rich man and a beggar. The divide and separation from those who serve Jesus and those who practice sin. What does the Bible say about eternity, about heaven, hell? No preacher enjoys preaching on hell. No church enjoys listening to sermons about hell but Jesus talked about hell more than he did heaven when he walked the earth. Most would agree that Jes...
