Going Down The List

Champagne, Caviar. These are things that exist. All of our winners from another year jam packed with enjoyable television, and a little preview into what season four will look like. Congrats to all the nominees, and a special thanks to you the listener for bearing with us through our ramblings. May your Halloween be safe and spooooooky (the extra o's make it spoooookier)

On a satisfying conclusion, and our own tardiness. Tune in for The 3rd Annual Platinum Pen Awards in a couple of days to see how Ted Lasso fares against the likes of Fallout, Your Friends and Neighbors, and The Bear.

A light. A shuttered window. A man named Leslie Higgins shrouded in shadows on a shabby stoop. Also: Chilton's evolving!

Auld Lang Syne indeed.

What's actually embarrassing is the delay from our producer. Our formal Change.org petition to put Leslie Higgins back in shorts.

So ARE they Brians?

Gemma?!

A slow start, and the rebound by Chilton

FROM WAY DOWNTOWN!!! Christopher Storer and co. snatch victory from the jaws of mediocrity in a stunning two episode close to our favorite restaurant story. Jeremy Allen White turns in a Platinum Pen reel, and Ayo locks down the captains hat. Thanks all so much for tuning in over the last three years for our coverage of The Bear, we'll return in the next couple of weeks with (likely) the much...

Like this tweet if someone has also lied to you about their first McGriddle experience

Do you really go to the same building in Cook County for a birth certificate and a liquor license?

Pretty solid appetizer for so few ingredients

The Fall of the House of Barney, and.... some other stuff. Thanks to everyone who tuned in this year, and apologies if we've been downers about the back half of this season. We'll return next year for season 3, but in the meantime please join us for our Bear season 5 coverage starting later on in June.

CRACK!

Coop- attempts to- take a stand , Barney remains the most proud man in Westmont, and Allie gets a fresh start (we guess?). Let's talk about it.

You know where we go when we're dancing Things get crazy in the Hamptons, Westmont, and pretty much everywhere else in a standout episode of YFAN.

This may not be our puffiest of pieces.

Sailinnnnnnnn' Coop keeps Drapering it up, Barney comes back to Earth, and Mel/Sam have their long awaited confrontation in a fantastic installment of Your Friends and Neighbors.

Come for Jer's Chanukah Song references, stay for Mundo's Oreo consumption hot takes. Mel hits a wall, hopefully? And Coop continues to settle into his one-foot-in-each-boat lifestyle in another highly entertaining episode from Your Friends and Neighbors.

YFAN dials back a bit as we crest into midseason territory. Ashe lays some cards on the table, and Coop gifts some Cartier to a very special somebody...

Now that's an extended family fight scene! Still not sure if the Coopers are ready to throw down with the Berzatto's, though. Coop, Hunter, Barney, Ashe, Sam, Edith Wharton and everyone else (?) starts making moves in episode 2 of Your Friends and Neighbors. Producer's Note: We were forced to record remotely for this episode so sound quality may not be up to our usual standard in spots...

In with the old, and in with the new YFAN makes a spectacle out of their promising sophomore debut with a time jump, and a dangerous amount of Gatsby allusions.

McLarens and moving vans, welcome back to Westmont. Our preview of season 2 of Apple TV's Jon Hamm led original series. Special thanks to special guests Randy the Razzler and Spooky B. Additional thanks to the YFAN subreddit community for the discussion points. See you in a couple of weeks for the premiere!

Glen Powell, Margaret Qualley, and a surprisingly fun time.

Some surprisingly good with feature potential, some bad with fairly poor execution. The future apparently has a bit of everything.
