As the days get shorter, the evenings colder, many begin to plan their mid-winter escapes. They reserve a chaise lounge in a tropical locale, a spot to soak up sunshine and relax before spring warms the air.  Others search for something besides a tan or surf lesson when they travel, maybe seeking out sites where tragedies have occurred to better understand some of what National Geographic calls &q...

From Google: The Woman in White (or the White Lady) is a legendary female ghost dressed in a flowing white gown or bridal wear, whose worldwide appearances are almost universally rooted in tragic tales of lost love, betrayal, or violent death Some legends portray her as a silent entity, or omen of misfortune. Others describe encounters where she asks travelers for assistance before mysteriously di...

We covered a LOT of ground in the conversation. Sam is fabulous, and both of us have stayed away from socials for the summer, so this was a happy reunion. We were both hyper and giddy by the end.  The first fifteen minutes  of the conversation is a lovefest for our mutual friend, Monique Pliakos. Her work at Innerstandings Hypnosis , and her reiki, are all top-notch, 100% ethical and she and her f...

Foggy Seattle mornings are this author's favorite writing companions. I love curling up with a notebook and pen on the couch, cat beside me, dog at my feet, to jot down traces of a dream or a story outline or ideas for the podcast.  This mini-episode was born in that cozy space. As I was researching Mount Shasta, giving the place a fresh deep dive for the new book, I remembered something, Sha...

Longtime friend of the show, Pete the Blue Collar Spiritualist, had a deep experience and he stopped by to share the details.  Trigger warning that we speak about suicide at around the 35 minute mark. Rain DeGray is a writer/photographer/educator and her new project is, well, here's Rain describing it, "Am starting a new photography project, something I have never tried before, and will be documenting it here as I go. Gone back to the land. Expect many trees and much sky."  ***If the subject of AI triggers you, please skip ahead to the 18:00 minute mark*** Topics Include Living b...

Well, Jesse and Jenn's friend, Pete, known as Blue on socials, stopped by to talk about the liminal and it was such a mind-blowing conversation! The topics veered from goddesses to working with stars and planets to experiences we've had with time travelers.  We love Pete, and if you are new to him, his energy is authentic fire. He has classes available for FREE on YouTube and has an acti...

Our recent conversation with Daniel Rekshan was unforgettable. In fact, the synchronicities, the general flow, and the subjects we covered had Jesse pretty much gobsmacked for the bulk of the hour. Jenn would label this one an instant classic , and hopes you find it worth a listen and a share and maybe even a five-star review! Daniel Rekshan writes about himself and his creation, D-SETI; "I’m...

The Morrigan has come into my life this last year. Sightings of giant ravens, power that I mine in my anger and hurt, potent enough to scorch a path to healing. She is known to be difficult to work with, and I shouldn't say 'she' it is they. The Morrigan is a title. As I have been studying about this Irish goddess, I've learned The Morrigan is many in one, and probably one of t...

In my exploration of angels, there is an angel that has avoided being named to me until now. What I've been finding out is that he is the most misunderstood, shunned creature of God out there. With nicknames like, "Shadow of God" is it any wonder why this angel is surrounded by controversy. Is he a fallen angel? Or one of the Seraphim order doing God's work in secret? Did he in...

As your hiking boots air out on the back porch, take an audio hike with me into Canada's Cascades. I'm guessing if volcanoes of the Cascade Mountain Range was on Jeopardy, you'd be able to name Mount St. Helens, and maybe Mount Rainer or Hood. Most people, even Californians, don't know about Mount Lassen. In fact, as a longtime Washington and California girl myself, this one was new to me Until I dug deep into CASCADIA. Overview of Native American History and Oral Tradition about...

The conversation was so incredible that none of us had the heart to press the <Stop Recording> button. In this segment, we talk about how Madia learned about bird-o-mancy (thank you Sam the Sky Guy for that moniker) and she took us through the history of this magic. Next we dwelled in the knowledge of Native American practices and asked if there's any such thing as a bad message when it...

Jesse and Jenn sat down with Madia expecting the conversation to begin and end with birds. But immediately the magic of tapping, EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique, came up and off we went.  There is a FANTASTIC mini-episode that spun out of our initial conversation, so look for that next week! One quote from Madia I came back to again and again after we quit recording?  "You can't give...

It felt like a friendship test. Jenn received a text from Jesse that told her she needed to watch Widow’s Bay. Like NOW.  Jenn explained that she didn’t have Apple TV and it had been a crappy day. She wanted to pour ten fingers worth of Japanese whiskey and disappear behind a screen of true crime. But Jesse persisted. Jenn. Jenn. Jenn. Jenn. You will love it. This show is a mix of spooky and funny...

It's been way too long since Pete, a friend from the early days of Curious Cat, stopped by for a visit. It will not be three years until we speak with him again, I promise you, dear listener. Our conversation started with a fan club meeting for WD40, then went into the realm of unlocking spirituality and intuition. It veered into GATE program memories, dreams of dying, a movie recommendation...
