Quite by chance Andy discovers an old Victorian ghost story which drove a soldier mad. Andy visits the location on the eastern edge of the New Forest where strange things have been seen in the mudflats.

In 1685 Lady Alice Lile was condemned to death for harbouring the King’s enemies at her New Forest home. Her ghost is said to haunt one of Hampshire’s most notorious pubs. Was her execution lawful or judicial murder? Andy investigates.

In 1940, a coven of New Forest witches performed a strange magical ceremony with the intention of stopping the Germany army from invading Britain. Did it work? Andy heads out to find out more.

When Sir Arthur Conan-Doyle, the creator of Sherlock Holmes, died in 1935 he was buried in the rose garden of his house in Sussex. However, 25 years after he died his body was exhumed and moved to the New Forest. The reason for this has never been clear.  What was his connection with the New Forest and does his ghost still wander around his old house? Andy goes looking for clues in Minstead.

In 1100 AD King William Rufus was killed while hunting in the New Forest. Was it an accident? Murder? or divine retribution? Andy sets out to visit where the Red King was mysteriously killed and tries to find the bloody path where his ghost has supposedly been seen.
