The Unrefined Guys

Hop in for a messy, hilarious, and real convo about aging dogs, election madness, AI gone wild, and why prepping and a good holster might actually save your day. No fluff: we spill the tea, swap survival tips, and grumble about ads, delivery apps, and politicians — like buddies around a late-night table.

If it weren't for those meddling kids!  Join me to unpack Balloons, Dogs, and Kids.

We dive into everything from painfully funny energy shot flops to sloppers, freeze dryers, marriage hacks, and the real stuff about anxiety and health. All with the kind of blunt, salty humor you’d expect to hear from us. Short, messy, and real: expect food chat, gear talk, relationship tips that actually work, and a no-BS take on politics and life. Tune in, laugh, and stay a bit! We promise it fe...

Join me for day one in Atlanta — a short, emotional story about a chance encounter at a barbecue joint that turned into a reminder of how much a small act of kindness can mean. Let's Unpack.

This episode walks through old stories that, weirdly, start to make sense when you see them together: a father and his only son on a mountain, a bronze snake lifted up, a man in the depths for three days, and pierced hands and feet. These details were written ages before they happened, and watching them line up with later events is kind of mind-blowing. If you've ever wondered whether the Bible's...

Here we explain Colorado's ballot initiatives.

A clear, no-nonsense walk through the Noah’s Ark buzz, the red heifer hoopla, and the politics around the Third Temple and what it actually means for how we live. No predictions, no fearmongering. Just the reminder that the timing is God’s business, not ours. If you want a friendly nudge to stop scanning for a date and start living like the master could walk through the door, this one is for you.

If you’ve ever left a Sunday service feeling comforted but unsettled, this one’s for you. I try to cut through the fog. Loving people doesn’t mean hiding truth and kindness. Without clarity, we lose the next generation. Listen like you’re talking to a friend. This isn’t about politics; it’s about whether the church will be brave enough to speak the whole, TRUE gospel, even when it costs something.

From arcade nostalgia and Chicken & Cone potato logs to midterms, AI, and whether Denver’s still worth the hype. Expect some laughs, off‑mic tangents, and a few sharp takes you can actually use. Tune in, grab a snack (or a Blizzard), and ride the chaos with us! It’s a messy, honest conversation like you’re sitting right here with us.

If you’re in a dark place right now, call or text 988 or visit 988lifeline.org. If you know a man who’s been “fine” for too long, ask the follow-up question: don’t let him keep falling in silence.

Goofy stories and marriage chaos to the wild Lindsey Clancy trial, jury doxxing, and what 9/11 still means, all with brutal honesty and a few laughs. Chatting with friends who don’t hold back: politics, parenting, music, and football included. Come ride the wave! No fluff, just real talk.

This one is raw and honest. It walks through the shock of Charlie Kirk’s assassination, the messy, ugly reactions, and the surprising revival that followed, all while tying it back to the memory of 9/11. It’s gonna sting, but it points to something hopeful: showing up and the quiet work that actually saves a country. Come with an open heart and a lot of courage.

Tomie and Bear embark on a rowdy Midweek Tug! Raw laughs, country stories (Garth at the Grizzly Rose, Dolly memories), politics that make you roll your eyes, and plenty of nonsense.  Bring a drink, a towel, and a sense of humor — this one’s messy, loud, and oddly heartwarming. Stick around; you’ll leave laughing or pissed off, perhaps even both.

We wander from Vegas throwbacks to jaw-dropping takes on surveillance, phones, and the big 9/11 anniversary. Travel annoyances, oddities of modern tech, and a tough, emotional legal case that’s got everyone talking.  patron.podbean.com/unrestrained MyPillow.com/TUGs

This Tommie's Take walks you through the heartbreaking, messy story of Lindsay Clancy: a nurse, a mom of three, and the intense trial that followed a devastating January night. Tommie breaks down the facts, the competing arguments about mental illness versus premeditation, and the social media circus that has exploded around the case. If you want a candid take on what this means for postpartum car...

Tommie breaks down how grief, the Temple veil, the sacrificial system, and Passover all point to Jesus’ death. He explains the significance of the curtain tearing from top to bottom at the moment of Christ’s death, not just as access to God being opened, but as God Himself grieving and ending the old system so that ordinary, broken people like us can come in. This episode mixes historical context,...
