Finding Liberty: Finding Freedom in Everyday Life

Most of us expect psychological breakthroughs to come through academic channels, not a stubborn and stay at home mother of multiple children, who never told anyone she was dealing with suicidal ideation. And yet here we are.

We're told to focus on ourselves, take responsibility for our actions and choices, and while that is good advice, it is also where the most insidious, and damaging, patterns can hide.

"You should go to therapy." OK, but what if you can't afford it? What if you tried and it didn't work? What if your own brain was sabotaging every session without you knowing? I have thoughts.

Sometimes you're going through stuff in life and nothing makes sense, and all you can do is press forward, like you're going through a pitch black tunnel.
