The Resurrection… so what? 1 Corinthians 15 reveals that without Jesus’ resurrection there is no gospel, no salvation, and no future hope. But since He has risen, we are called to rejoice, stand firm, and abound in the work of the Lord.

We exist to fulfill the Great Commission. God has graciously saved sinners and allowed them to participate in His redemptive plan. We listen to the marching orders from the resurrected King, to make disciples of all nations.

We exist to worship as the Church. Christ has graciously saved sinners and placed them into the Church, His bride. In this community, all are called to build one another up with the spiritual gifts the Lord has given them.

God has graciously chosen to reveal Himself generally through nature, and specifically through His perfect, errorless, and sufficient Word, the Bible. Psalm 19 shows us the attributes, beauty, and benefits of Scripture. City Bible exists to teach, love, and obey God’s Word. We exist to worship. Everything we do as a church has the ultimate purpose of glorifying our Triune God.
