The Planet Man was a popular old rtime radio program in the 1950s.  It followed the adventures of Dantro, an agent for The Legaue of Planets, who maintained peace in the galaxy.    In this episode, a rocket from Earth gets trapped in a lunar orbit and is rescued by Dantro. 

The Baby from Krypton is the famous first episode of The Adventures of Superman Old Time Radio series, which debuted in 1940.  The episode details Jor-El sending infant Kal-El (Superman) to Earth as Krypton explodes.  He is found and raised by the Kents , eventually becoming the legendary Superman.

In this classic episode of Flash Gordon,  trio travels to Mongo in Zarkov's rocket ship to stop the rogue planet from colliding with Earth. Upon arrival, they are captured by Ming's forces and must constantly fight for survival. Flash Gordon  was an old time radio program based on the comic strip The Amazing Interplanetary Adventures Of Flash Gordon, starting in 1935 and running for 26 episodes.
