You're Lucky You're Cute

I turned 26 last month and boy have things changed. All of of sudden my brain feels like its working in super speed and life is a lot less overwhelming internally. Let's chat about it.

They say you’re suppose to choose the road less traveled and I feel like I have really put that to the test this last month. I have really leaned into my “yes” and it has gotten me into some interesting situations, such as a stage at a fair, a local television show and a new/old bff. 

So often we feel change is something that happens to us. It is big and scary and unknown. What if we were able to make the change work for us and push us closer to what we wanted in life? What if we were the catalysts of the change not a bystander?

Let’s set you up for success! What goals are you working on and what’s the quickest way to accomplish them.? And oh yeah…. A dating update! ;-)

Your favorite internet big sister is back to discuss the trials and tribulations of moving out for the first time. It’s a big step into adulthood and one that can totally be managed by setting yourself up for success from the start. Congratulations on your big accomplishment!

Always stay open to meeting new people because you never know when the next person is going to change your life.

That voice in your head saying you cannot handle the embarrassment of failure, we all get that. How do we gain trust with ourselves and take action? To the guy I went on one date with, this one’s for you. I hope you start that non-profit.

Ok, so I know we just did this a few months ago but this time it’s for real. No more corporate. No more 9-5. No more 40 hours a week. OMG! Also, who wears a lei and a flower in her hair to an interview??

Everyone deserves to feel confident in what they wear and how the express themselves, but sometimes is can be difficult to tune out all the noise the trend cycle constantly  makes. After graduation, it’s a little bit of a transition to post-grad life. You may move away from your college town, move home, or somewhere completely knew.
