This country spent almost 1000 straight years under foreign rule by different powers and today it is one of the only ones that still remains. This is Malta.

In the Yucatan Peninsula lies a country of vastly different cultures and a lot of history. The great Maya, the Spaniards and the British all made appearances in the history of this country and affected it greatly. This country and its people have held a lot of stories in its time and I am here to tell them. This is Belize.

A small country attached to Borneo which it shares with much bigger neighbors of Malaysia and Indonesia; has a history and culture strong enough to contend with these two giants. It is a strong monarchy which in the modern age endures a lot of criticism from the western world but just like it has throughout its entire history, it has endured. This is Brunei.

In the land of fire and ice lies a history that stretches back thousands of years. This country has seen people from all over the world influence its story, Gaelic Monks, Norwegian vikings, Danish Kings and more have all spent time in Iceland. This most northern capital in the world is in Iceland and so is  the rest of the  history, this is episode 26 and this is Iceland. 

Episode 25: São Tomé and Príncipe 01.05.2022

In the gulf of Guinea lies a lesser known volcanic mountain range called the Cameroon range, upon this range is one of Africa's least populated countries. These two islands and the people on them have been a host to a vast history and a lot of culture. They have survived many things from colonization to natural disasters, this is Africas dual island duo, this is São Tomé and Príncipe.

The cradle of Polynesia, pro wrestling royalty and the home of The Rock, Samoa is a culturally rich place that has survived many ages of change and they still grow even today. This is a huge one and this is Samoa.

The long storied and brutal history of this island is to be told today. Caribs, Arawaks, absolutely brutal slavery and a recovery to become a beautiful and independent Caribbean country of today.  This is the last of the Saints in the Caribbean this is Saint Lucia.

An archipelago in Oceania has a whole lot of history to tell and marks a first for this series. The first country we are doing in Melanesia is this beautiful one. With ancient customs being revived today this country deserves its beautiful history told. This is Vanuatu.

Not the region of Oceania but the country within it of the same name. A wide ranging group of over 600 islands makes this country very unique. Wide ranging stories from Wayfinding to independence and many other stories this is Micronesia.

A Polynesian country with a history of Kings dating back to pre European times and one of the only pacific islands to avoid colonization by the European powers this unique Polynesian gem has a storied history. With major figures and players throughout the history this country doesn't Have a dull moment. This is Tonga.

The dual islands of the lesser Antilles have a storied history and bright future. These islands see interference from around the globe but still manage to hold onto their culture that has always defined them. This culture remains today and so do these people behind it, this is going to be an enjoyable story because This is Antigua and Barbuda.
