i was experimenting with genre fusion ideas again, and this was my attempt to try to blend elements of PsyTrance with Trap, so i could say i made "PsyTrap" lol... idk if i quite captured enough tropes of other genre, maybe moreso of Trap than PsyTrance, but hey, i tried at least.

i was originally attempting to make a simple 128 BPM House song, even started learning how to make my own drums using Xfer's Serum (which is why the drums are not the best they could be). but i got the temptation to put Grind Machine II on my lead, and after a couple hours, this went from an Electro House project, to a weird metal-inspired hybrid electro dubstep song, lol...

157 BPM. i don't know what genre to call this, it's kinda D&B in some ways, but it changes as it gets farther.

this is a slightly remastered version, mainly i felt like some of the sub-bass was inconsistent and too weak, but i messed with a couple other things. 148 BPM Dubstep with Hardstyle outro. primarily used Oddprophet Serum presets, this was just a fun project, not meant to impress anyone.

7/8 timing, 77BPM. new niche genre concept, 7step. based partially off of modern dubstep, but in a very specific time sig and BPM. also, a lot of synth and effect parameters are set to divisibles of 7, because that's how weird i got with this, lol. this is me taking a break from the typical hip hop and EDM tracks i post a lot.

i recently heard a mix of "Riddim" which i guess is some sort of niche subgenre of dubstep where people make low effort basic tracks or whatever. to sort of poke fun at the scene, i decided to take the Crash The Bandicoot "whoa" and made it the showcase of this track, as a silly joke xD

this is a progressive drumstep remix of Chiodos - The Words 'Best Friend' Become Redefined. originally was just a joke of a project, but since i got Serum i found that it's become a little easier to have cool sounds so i felt like this turned out better than i was expecting. it's not perfect though, especially the mix and mastering job i did was a bit bad, but while it's not as good as Bassnectar...
