In which X7 has decided that collective groups of dinosaurs need names, like a gaggle of geese or a clowder of cats. He gives several suggestions for a wide variety of dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. He even includes the best prehistoric mammal as well. Included is a special segment for the hosts of I Know Dino , Garret and Sabrina. We hope they like the suggestions.

We go over the history and influence of the characters, and the wide appearances they have made in almost 90 years. In which X7 goes off to Amzot to review the 4th episode of The Herculoids ! There's a reason he starts making Beatles references, though. It was not a difficult stretch, either. Be that as it may, there is yet again a lot of action, but neither Dorno nor Tara get captured. It's all out action time... for the Herculoids!

In which X7 talks about 1944's monster bash, House of Frankenstein ! This was the first movie that brought together more than two beasts at the same time. This one had four, or five if you count the mad scientist as the real monster, which you should. X7 saw this a few times growing up, and it sure moves by in a hurry!

In which X7 talks about the 1973 teleseries Super Robot Red Baron . It is about a young man who pilots a super robot against the evil machinations (see what we did there?) of the Iron Masked Party and Dr. Deviler. Who names these kids? X7 talks about the series and the cartoon version, along with the sequel, Super Robot Mach Baron . And you get to hear the awesome theme song!

In which X7 does the same thing he does every Friday night, talks about seven random songs! YES! Today there is a bit of a movie and television theme, with 4.5 songs (it will make sense) having to do with moving media. None of this was planned, and some people might call it synchronicity. Others, unfamiliar with the Law of Large Numbers, will call it a coincidence. It is random, we promise!

In which X7 talks about a cartoon series he has never seen before today, Hoppity Hooper . It ran for three seasons and was produced by the great Jay Ward. The show is a lot of fun, and should be remembered that way. It isn't that original, but really, it has a lot more fun than most series from that time frame! Hop to it!

In which X7 talks far too much about Birdman and the Galaxy Trio , NBC's answer to Superman and Space Ghost. It was very popular, and all the zapping and explosions made people with too much time on their hands whine to the networks. Be that as it may, the Galaxy Trio were the stars of the show, rather than boring ol' Birdman. Just ask X7, he will tell you that!

In which X7 examines the final oddball Asian monster movie from 1967, Yongary, Monster from the Deep . This is a South Korean/Japanese co-production. In which X7 discusses the third episode of The Herculoids . This time we meet Krokar and Stal-Lak, though one of them goes unnamed this time around. X7 looks at some of the fun continuity and some lack thereof. Come on, it was Saturday morning television, and even evening shows had loose continuity back then. Be that as it may, these are good episodes. Not the best, but good. Sta-Lak does not fade...

In which X7 looks at a good action movie that features dinosaurs (eventually). It is an adaptation of Edgar Rice Burroughs 1918 novel The Land That Time Forgot . This is a pretty faithful version, and has some great miniatures for a movie from 1975. The dinosaurs are puppets, but for this movie, they work well enough. It was aired on Svengoolie last night, which made for a fun feature.

In which X7 declares, via fiat from Lilith Draco, that today and forthwith shall ever be known as Pachycephalosaurus Day! This will take precedence over all other supposed holidays from this time period on! In which X7 listens to seven random songs. He talks about the bands, meanders off topic occasionally. He does find it easy to monologue, doesn't he? In which X7 talks about the wonderful kung fu epic, Five Shaolin Masters , AKA Five Masters of Death. It boasts a great cast, wonderful martial arts sequences and a more survivors in a Chang Cheh movie than one would imagine. Be that as it may, this is an all time classic. X7 discusses the English dubbed trailer as well. He really does not like Ma Fu Yi!

In which X7 looks at the 2005 viral cartoon Charlie the Unicorn . It has four sequels as well, and X7 includes the first two for good reason. They are really quite funny with some off the wall humor. How many times do you get to see a Magical Liopleurodon ? Not very often, we will tell you what! These are available to see on YouTube, and are highly recommended!

In which X7 gets rather in-depth about What If Someone ELSE besides Spider-Man had been bitten by the radioactive spider ? That is one very unwieldy title, isn't it? It is in all caps on the cover, but we ain't typing that out! Be that as it may, this is another tragic, yet triumphant book. In which X7 looks at the second episode of The Herculoids ! He also manages a Despicable Me reference as well. At some point he will have to discuss that movie as well. Be that as it may, these two episodes are very similar and may actually be a two part story. X7 explains why!

In which X7 examines the sad failure of a good show, Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future . It was from 1987, so it sure looks like sci-fi from 1987. Remember the video generated effects from Star Trek: The Next Generation ? We mean, you won't want to, but this show has about the same quality. The scripts were somewhat better even! Too many unsold toy and busybody parent groups sealed...

In which X7 discusses a book he is reading while watching the original Lost in Space series. This voluminous volume covers the first season, with loads of pictures and more. It is quite good, and well worth the money if you are a fan. As we know, X7 is a fan! Irwin Allen had quite a decent track record of shows in the 60s.

In which X7 listens to seven random songs and talks about the music and the musicians. He also plays his Gretsch G2420T at the beginning. It is one of his favorite songs ever! Be kind about his playing. This a truly eclectic selection, though three songs have something in common. Not the music, though!

In which X7 talks about the best version (as of this recording) of the Fantastic Four . Hanna-Barbera brought this fab four to animated life in 1967, and it is as close as we have gotten to a great version of the comic book. It has yet to be released in any home video version, though. Imagine a cartoon being better than four movie versions. Wait, you don't have to!

In which X7 talks about the wonderful 1981 dinosaur-comedy movie Caveman . The cast is wonderful and the effects are fun. X7 really misses stop-motion animation! Be that as it may, there is only one dinosaur in the movie. The others are of a different lineage, and one or two never did exist in this world. To top it all off, Ringo met his future wife, married her a year later and they are still tog...

In which X7 celebrates Earth Day by talking about the planet's greatest defender, man's friend, Godzilla. Yes, it is Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster from 1971. He saw it as a young agent, and it left quite the impression. Hedorah is a vile and interesting monster, as the slimy alien fad was still eight years away. Let's all sing "Save the Earth" together!
