In which X7 takes a look at one of the oddest kiddie movies of all time- The Magic Sword from 1962! He saw it as a kiddie agent, and has never forgotten it. It is still pretty wonderfully weird overall, but quite a fun movie. We highly recommend it. Anyone got the Blu Ray for sale?

In which X7 reviews the great 1960 Giant Golden Book, Dinosaurs and Other Prehistoric Reptiles. This was a must have book from the 60s to the 70s for all dinosaur loving kids. The views are a bit outdated now, but it is still a gorgeous and well-written book. We also get to see the new version from 2013 as well!

In which we change things up a bit here and review two episodes of the Avengers cartoon- oops! That is the Captain America cartoon from 1966. These are very interesting adaptations, in regards to the fact that the animation studio left out a LOT of information for both stories. The animation is a bit smoother, though the sound effects still do a lot of work! It is pretty fun to see Cap's Kooky...

In which X7 talks about one of the most famous luchadors in the world, El Santo, and his most famous movie! This is the English dubbed version, Samson vs. the Vampire Women . It was imported with many other Mexican movies in the 60s by K. Gordon Murray . We are thanking him for making our childhoods weird and wonderful! PS. The audio issue has been taken care of!

In which X7 reviews the most excellent movie, Ninja in the Dragon's Den (1982)! It is a nice Japanese-Chinese collaboration, full of martial arts, magic, misunderstandings and slight comedy! We highly recommend it and wish there was a Blu Ray presentation of it from Arrow Video! Be that as it may, it's great.

In which X7 takes us on quite the ride through musical history today! Let us find out if he can make it make sense. Somehow, we think we should just enjoy the music!

In which we look at a couple more great episodes of Ultraman! Dada is an artistic invader looking to collect humans for unknown reasons- maybe they want more people to look at their art? This is followed by two innocent monsters that eat gold. Alas, people love gold more than monsters, it seems. Get your Spider Gun ready, you are gonna need it!

In which X7 takes a look at one of the oddest Japanese movies from 1967- Jack and the Witch ! He never saw it as a wee agent, so seeing it with older eyes does give one a slightly different perspective. It is a pretty fun movie, though a tad overlong. There are a lot of chases and captures and escapes throughout the film. A ten minute edit would do wonders for the audience!

In which X7 talks for quite a while about the great King Kong vs. Godzilla (1962)! We will watch him more next time to make sure he does not filibuster, if you will, about his topic. We cannot promise anything, though. You know X7 and his love of these movies!

In which X7 and Captain America meet the amazing Adaptoid in episode 07! This android can copy any individual's abilities, including non-super powers. Can Cap defeat a being with several Avengers powers by himself?

In which X7 talks about the second monster movie directed by Eugène Lourié , The Giant Behemoth (1959)! It is quite entertaining, if a bit "by the numbers" overall. The monster is cool, and a stop-motion rampage is always fun to watch. Find out if it is the "biggest thing since creation!"

In which X7 reviews the fourth and ultimate movie in Chang Cheh's "Shaolin Cycle"- Shaolin Temple (1976)! It is an action-packed and all-star affair, culminating in the destruction of the Temple. Get ready, go!

In which X7 reviews the sad story of Gomora, as told in Ultraman episodes 26 and 27. Our lovable monster was minding his own business when a busybody professor brings him to Japan. Good things always happen when monsters are taken from their homes and brought to civilization, right?

In which X7 reviews one of Toho Studios best non-Godzilla or even kaiju related movies- Atragon (aka Kaitei Gunkan ). It is a great and emotional movie, filled with spectacle and personal conflict. We highly recommend it!

In which X7 talks about one of the earliest "gore" movies, The Flesh Eaters (1964)! It is rather gory, but it is also in black and white which makes it both better and worse. It is a pretty good little movie, and has a very interesting pedigree! You will have to watch to find out, though, since we aren't giving it away!

In which X7 talks about the sixth episode of Captain America, which is really an Avengers story. In fact, it was the sixth comic book Avengers story! It is a pretty decent adaptation overall, though Giant Man and the Wasp are nowhere to be found. X7 also talks about the first time he saw the episode on 200 foot Super 8mm film. It was not what he expected!

In which X7 edits the final thirteen segments of the Prehistoric Animals Advent calendar of 2024. We get to meet Higgentoot! The cats sure love him!

In which X7 examines the third movie in the Shaolin Cycle of Chang Cheh, which is Five Shaolin Masters (1974). These are the five masters that went into central China after the burning of the Shaolin Temple. It is action-packed and full of Shaw Brothers stars. It's a great martial arts movie, we will tell you what!

In which X7 listens to and talks about seven pretty great songs! There are some hits and some deep cuts, and people in the radio biz call them these days. And in keeping with the rule, a song X7 has never heard before today! Let's get ready to rock and roll!

In which we start Series 03 with X7's review of The Brain from Outer Space! It is a fun movie with a silly invader who is trying to take over the world. Seems like many evil brains from space do that regularly. This one has a good brain that follows him, but needs a lot of help to stop Gor. It is quite the memorable movie, we will tell you what. Next time, they should get some meddling kids to vis...

In which X7 talks about the wonderful Time Warp comic book store that he has frequented for many decades. Yes, decades. That happens when people reach a certain vintage. It will be under new ownership as of tomorrow, but X7 has known the former owner for more than four decades. He is a great person and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors. We still love comic books!

In which X7 talks about how Captain America was found and joins the Avengers. It starts out pretty close to the comic book, then veers into a different story altogether. We do not know why, but it works pretty well. An Avengers cartoon might have been a big hit!

In which X7 makes a first compilation video from his series of Advent Calendar shorts! This stars his cats along with the many super cool dinosaurs and other prehistoric animals. We don't get to meet Higgentoot the Pachy just yet, but he will be there! He does feature on the cover.
