By 1989, Dusty Rhodes was already a wrestling legend. A multiple time NWA champ who had shown an ability to win over audiences all over the country, the time finally came for him to work for Vince McMahon... and he wore polka dots. In 1997, they had one of the hottest feuds in wrestling history with Hulk Hogan vs Sting, and all they had to do was bring it home, but what followed was probably the biggest fumble in the history of professional wrestling. This is the story of, and our reactions to, Starrcade 1997.
