In this week’s passage, we see Jesus perform a miracle by healing a man who was born blind. Listen in as Pastor Brian Metz shows how this passage reveals much about God’s sovereignty over suffering, our role in faithful obedience, and the power of our testimony.

In this week’s text, Jesus continues to challenge and correct the people. The people say they believe in him, but as they continue to talk with Jesus, they seem to be relying heavily on their pedigree. Jesus challenges that notion by calling them children of the devil. In this week’s passage, we see Jesus making the credible declaration that those who do not believe in Him, will die in their sin. This passage is an honest plea, and a real warning. This week we see Jesus testify about Himself, declaring that He is the light of the world. Listen in as we discuss what Jesus being the Light of the world means for a dark world.

We continue our John series as we see the religious leaders once again test Jesus. This time, they use a woman who has been caught in adultery to attempt to trap Him in His response to their questioning. Jesus instead responds with wisdom, truth and grace.

Jesus has been speaking with authority and truth, which inevitably brings opposition. In this text we see the divide He’s beginning to cause, with some believing Him to be Christ, some unsure, and others seeking to arrest Him. Listen in as Pastor Wade discusses this passage and evaluates the responses we see from the people.

Our culture talks about love constantly. It’s in songs, movies, and advertisement. But do we know what love really is? This week, we continue our advent series by defining love through the example God provides to us in John 3:16.

Hope defined by the world is based on things that we don’t know.  Hope for good weather, good grades, etc. Biblical hope is rooted in certainty, based on the unfailing promises of God. As we continue our advent series, Pastor Wade reminds us of the certain Hope we have through Jesus Christ.

This week we begin our advent series by discussing joy. Listen in as Brian Metz teaches what joy is, and how we can both receive and reflect it to the world around us.

We continue our John series as we see Jesus and His followers in the midst of a feast. The crowd has an abundance of food and drink, yet Jesus calls them to consider their spiritual thirst. Pastor Wade discusses how we are called to seek and share Jesus, even when our bodily needs are met.

In this week’s passage we see a crowd questioning whether Jesus is the Messiah or not, and Jesus’ response to the question. Some of the people believe, and others seek to arrest Him, but they can’t because “His hour had not yet come”.

In John 7, we see Jesus once again being accused of crimes by the crowd. Why are the people unable to recognize Jesus as the real and true Messiah? In this passage, Jesus teaches us how to distinguish between the truth and a lie.

As we continue our John series, we see that there’s a dividing line between the world, and Jesus. What is this dividing line? His mission, His message, and His Messianic identity. Listen in as Jason Crowe discusses this division, and the decision every person must make about Jesus in light of it.

This week we pause our series in John, as Pastor Brian Metz discusses the value of discipleship and how we can be conformed into the image of Christ alongside one another.

This week, we continue examining Jesus’ teaching in the synagogue, and the disciples response. The passage begs the question, how did His words, which are spirit and life, cause so many people to turn away from Him?  

In this weeks passage, Jesus speaks in the synagogue about eternal life, referring to himself as the “Bread of Life” offered to any who would believe. The people do not respond in faith to this claim, but instead they question His teaching, and eventually reject Him. Listen in and hear how we can respond in faith to the offer Jesus is presenting.

In John 6:28, Jesus is asked what we need to do to work for God. Jesus replies and only gives them one thing to do, “believe in the one whom God has sent.” That sounds simple enough, but what does it mean to believe truly?

This week, we return to our John series as Jesus begins a sermon of correction and rebuke which will result in many people turning their back on Him. Jesus offers the people eternal life and love, but they’re content with perishable loaves. Listen in as Pastor Wade discusses this passage, and the offer the gospel presents to us.

This week, on our two year anniversary, we pause our series in John to remind ourselves of the guiding principles of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness.

There’s a big difference between what we want and what we need. In John 6, we see a crowd of people following Jesus, hoping to have their wants fulfilled by Him.
