God desires us to be in healthy relationships, with Him and others. For many of us, "living the dream" has much to do with our relationship with Jesus and our relationship with our spouse.

What is our purpose as followers of Jesus when it comes to the next generation? * To point them to Jesus. * To tell them the stories of what God has done for us. * To make sure they know that He is where they can find life to the full.

The most crucial question in the Bible, and our very lives, is the same question that Jesus asked his followers in Mark 8:29, "Who do you say I am?" Peter answered that question, but have you? As we enter into a personal relationship with Jesus, we come to discover that he is far more concerned with the condition of our heart than anything else. What is the condition of your heart? Everything we do flows from it!

At the feet of Jesus is a place for hopeless causes because at the feet of Jesus is a cause for hope.

Often our deepest pain becomes our highest platform. Can Jesus turn my storm into a story?

If Jesus served people in humility, how much more should we? If the Creator of the Universe came down here and washed feet, isn’t that how we should also act? Some people have servant's hearts. Some, not so much. If you want to take a step toward being a humble Christ-like servant, it begins with a change of heart.

Jesus did not play by the safe, man-made rules of his time. From the very beginning of his ministry, Jesus was a rebel. Jesus didn't play by the safe, man-made rules of his time, and he calls us to do the same when he asks us to follow him.

All of us are waiting for the right person to be in charge and to make things right, and a lot of us feel that what is ruling this world isn't right at all. When Jesus says, "Repent and believe the good news," he is extending an invitation.  God's Kingdom is the greatest invitation of all. Are you ready to accept?

Baptism is from the Greek word "Baptizo" which literally means to dip, immerse or sink. As we continue to reach our community with the grace and truth of Jesus, there will be times we are going to have to go the extra mile. That can be difficult when someone just doesn't "get it" or when they simply see things differently than you, but that is what Jesus calls us to do.

Mark 2:5 starts with, "When Jesus saw their faith..." We can also read that as, "When Jesus saw their commitment..." These men were willing to do anything to bring their friend to Jesus because they knew he could change their friend's life. Jesus was often accused of "eating with sinners," but there's a reason he did so. When we break bread together we also break down barriers. Jesus demonstrated that sharing a meal together changes things. It can help us reach our neighbor with the grace and truth of Jesus.
