World Explores: A World Building Podcast

What would happen if humans now lived in the core of the earth while the Earth's molten center now wraps around the outside? Well in this episode Isaac and Cassie try to answer that very question. They look into weather, transportation, and what technology this human society might develop to aid them in surviving this environment. 

We start with weird narwhals but expand to cotton candy birds, candy corn bees, genetic gravity, lemonade rain, and a lot more weird and random stuff. What purpose does this world serve? Good question, let me know if you manage to find an answer. 

What if humans had never existed but instead dragons were the dominant race? Well in this episode Isaac and Cassie take a try at answering that question. They look at some big things, like how to define dragon and how dragons would react when the world starts running low on recourses. Today the world is one made completely of clouds. Also creatures fly about that can absorbed the clouds to become different shapes and gain power ups. Oh and humans don't eat but absorb crystals instead. Yeah, this one is a weird one but also really fun to build with plenty of opportunities to expand. 

Returning to the fantasy world they created last week, Isaac and Cassie expand on some of the cultures they had been creating. They dive deep into the caves of the dwarfs, try to make the fish people useful to society, and even expand on the importance's of the elves magic milk. 

Isaac and Cassie take well-known fairytale creatures and add their own twists to them. This leads to elves that drink magic milk, fairies with glass wings and many more weird fantasy creatures. All of whom live together in this new take on the classic fantasy world. 

A world ending event has shattered the world into mini islands that resemble asteroids. In this episode we try to figure out how humanity could survive this event and also what type of life they live now that the earth is so greatly transformed. 

In this episode we start with a simple idea: someone inside an elevator that allows them to travel to any time of their life. Throughout this podcast we take this idea and turn it into a dystopian world where memories are highly valued.
