The Trinity is essential to Christianity. As storytellers, we have to get the story of Trinity straight. The world must know that they have been invited into God's family. Matthew 28:19-20; Mark 1:9-11; Romans 8:14-16, and many more.

The Story of God is the Story of God with us. The only proper response to this story is worship. Take this story of God and go tell it on the mountain! Revelation 21:1-8; Romans 1:21-25; Genesis 12:1-3; Hebrews 9:11-12; Colossians 3:16-17

Love received becomes love extended. So as we see God's love for us in His initiation towards us and His sacrifice for us, we can extend that love, and tell the story of love, by initiating and sacrificing beyond boundaries. 1 John 4:7-21; 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Humans were designed for intimacy, with God and with others, yet sin and shame ruined it all. But Jesus is writing a new story, a story where intimacy can be restored through people freed from the shackles of shame. Genesis 2:18-25; Romans 7:24-8:2

Storytelling is a powerful language that resonates in our hearts and connects us to others. We are all storytellers, but what story are we telling? God's story is THE story in which all other stories make sense. This is the story of Scripture. 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 1 Thes 2:13, Isa 55:11, Deut 6:6-7

Looking backward is an important step for moving forward as long as we learn from the past and rely solely on the light of Christ to light our way going forward. We will move forward in 2022, because Christ is lighting our path!

Matthew 2 challenges us to surrender our own personal kingdoms to the king of kings.

Have you noticed that everyone in the Christmas Story has a speaking part but Joseph. Joseph was a man of few words. But his actions speak louder than words. He faithfully played his part in the Gospel Story. How about you? Matthew 1:18-25

Psalm 30, a song of thanksgiving from King David, helps us practice a thankfulness that is forged in the peril of the night by the hope of the morning. In Jesus we have that Blessed Hope that strengthens our thankfulness through the darkness of this life. Psalm 30; Romans 6:5-9, Col 2:6-7

When we give thanks for a God who endures, we find a source of thankfulness that endures even when our circumstances fail us. Psalm 136

Before entering the Promised Land, God has Moses review with the second generation out of Egypt his covenant with them and the blessings and curses he promises with that covenant. Why is that important to them and why is it important to us? Deuteronomy 28

In Deuteronomy, Moses final messages to the people of Isreal there is found the Shema prayer. It also has a call and challenge to disciple the generations to come. Deuteronomy 6:1-12

Fear is a universal human problem that quickly robs us of the abundant life available to us in Christ. Awareness of fear and a willingness to confront it are critical for those who desire to become fully alive versions of themselves. Numbers 13-14

God wants to have a relationship with us, but because God is holy, we can only approach Him in the way that He prescribes. Yom Kippur: the Day of Atonement teaches us that there is a wrong way and the right way to approach God. Leviticus 16:1-34
