In Micah 6:6-8 God speaks of "little things" like justice, mercy, and walking humbly with God. Jesus refers to this passage in Matthew 23:23 and lets us know that little things become big things.

With everyone he encountered, Jesus had a "next." Something to start, to stop, to go deeper, to patiently wait...but there was always a next. Most of the time we are well aware of what God expects of us next, we just struggle to actually do it.

Today is THE Sunday we collect our entire missions budget for the whole year! We're privileged to hear from Phil and Rebecca Jackson, missionaries in Athens, Greece working primarily with Middle Eastern refugees.

Now that Jesus has laid out how life really works which means that he has laid out a choice - is He Lord or not?

Jesus could be direct, even harsh...but there was a loving, kind purpose. He told people that they were deeply flawed but even more deeply loved.

Churches can be beautiful and life-giving. Or they can be challenging and painful. The major difference between healthy and unhealthy churches are it's leaders. While it made not sound exciting, it's absolutely crucial to the kingdom to identify and raise up healthy leaders.

It's incredibly easy to assess and dismiss people for relatively arbitrary reasons - looks, politics, theology, clothes...you name it, we will probably judge people for it. This, of course, leads to the division, chaos and disarray that we see in the world. Jesus shows us a better way.

To love one's enemies is Jesus' most familiar and yet most neglected command. We're familiar with it because it's so shocking and counter-intuitive. We neglect it because it's so hard. Of course, we don't ignore it outright. We have a complex system of excuses and objection. How can we clear our those justifications and simply live as Jesus asks?

People travelled for miles to hear Jesus teach. What he was saying was SO different that, to some, the truth about life even sounded backward. Who is really blessed? Who is really in danger?

Interpersonal conflict is tough. Some people seem to live for it but most of us try to avoid it at all costs. The problem is, it can't always be avoided and, sometimes, it shouldn't be avoided, it must be worked through. Join us as we dig into an incredible story of two deeply committed Christians experiencing conflict in their pursuit of faith.

Busyness sometimes keeps us from having the kind of relationships that God wants us to have. Our culture focuses on productivity and materialism. How can we as Christians prioritize our lives to enjoy life God's way?

We need relationships, but they can be awkward. We disagree, have different backgrounds, and don't always get along. When things get awkward we need to push through!

A red flag is an early warning sign of someone's true character breaking through. It's not just other people, sometimes red flags are a sign of character troubles in our own hearts. In this series we're exploring four internal red flags.

Paul reminds Christians that not only is Christ fully God, but in Christ all blessings come, all sins are removed, and all powers against us vanquished. These blessings come when we are united with Christ in baptism.

A lot of Christians find themselves with an anemic faith. They haven't abandoned Jesus, they've just lost the connection to the vibrancy and flourishing that all humans long for. Paul offers a path back toward real life.

Paul talks about himself serving the church.  He also shares that our motivation and our power to serve comes through Christ.  Jesus is for everyone.

Jesus is everything we need. He is the great reconciler.

We love stuff. New stuff, more stuff, different stuff. But, even more than money, Jesus talked about stuff and our relationship with it.
