Women Like Us - Mandy Nolan and Ellen Briggs

Do you like exercise?  Mandy loves being the centre of attention at the gym and Ellen walks as much as Forrest Gump.  Today we talk to Dr Caroline about ways we start exercise and stick to it....because apparently doing it once is not enough.

Today we talk to Dr Caroline West about how our mind plays tricks on us when it comes to telling us who we are and what we can achieve.  Mandy and Ellen don't have that problem - they think they're a lot better than they actually are already!

In this, our fifth instalment in the Seven Deadly Sins Series, Ellen states early on that she doesn't think she is an envious person.  Perhaps she changes her mind at the end though, with some gentle prodding from Mandy.  Mandy admits she's envious of people with nice cars and easy lives, Ellen tells the story of the time she was assaulted over a karaoke deal.

In this episode Mandy and Ellen talk about what it means to be a sloth, the "pooh corner" in Mandy's house, they remember a house they went to where they wouldn't let the kids drink from cups, and Ellen tells the story of her engagement to Alex and how she gets him to do stuff around the house.

This week, Mandy and Ellen discuss what pride is, and the horrible things it makes you do.  Is pride always a bad thing?  Ellen is a serial banner of shops and her pride stands in her way even when she has to go to the next town, and Mandy talks about the one and only grudge she's ever held.

Mandy and Ellen get pretty damn personal in this episode talking about lust...well Mandy does anyway, because like she says in the episode - she's an over sharer.  Ellen talks about what lust is like after being with the same bloke for 28 years, it's a quick chat, and it's lots of fun.

In the first episode of their Seven Deadly Sins Podcast, which is probably their favourite sin - gluttony - Mandy talks about a drunken midnight feed and Ellen questions whether tuna is a snack or a meal.
