Wise Men Say – in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 29 08.05.2017 41:48
Stephen, Gareth and Rory are joined by former Wearside Roar editor, amongst other things, Tom Lynn. We pick the bones out of a bizarre Sunderland performance in which we played quite well and did two of those goal things that other people keep banging on about. Too little too late? Hope for next season? Or just plain meh? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Wise Men Say – in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 27 17.04.2017 44:26
It was all too little, too late. A canny performance, but it probably dug up more questions than answers for David Moyes. Stephen is back and joins Gareth, Rory and Michael Lough in an all WMS affair. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Wise Men Say – in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 26 10.04.2017 44:50
We're getting to the stage where the undertaker is going to have to replace the coffin, such is the residual damage from the constant hammering of nails in the aforementioned casket of relegationy goodness. Sunderland seemed to be there in body and not in spirit as they limped to a 0-3 home reverse to Manchester United. Is there anything good about us at the moment? We're all scratching our heads....
Wise Men Say – in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 25 03.04.2017 34:51
Would another manager have got more out of this group of players than 20 points? It's Wilkinson/McCarthy-esque and some of the Wise Men Say team have utterly and completely lost faith in David Moyes. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Wise Men Say – British SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 24 20.03.2017 48:58
What a dire game and what a dire result. An increasingly frustrated fan bas and with a manager under no real pressure, there's a lot of beef flying about. British beef, of course. Stephen, Gareth and Rory are joined my ALS Fanzine's Chris Thompson and The Evening Chronicle's James Hunter. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 23 06.03.2017 52:23

Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 22 27.02.2017 39:48
Another bad result and things look bleak, but on the other hand we're still well within touching distance of safety. A non descript defeat at Everton to discuss should be delightful. Joining Stephen and Gareth are Richard Mennear of the Sunderland Echo and WMS contributor Michael Lough. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 21 13.02.2017 43:26
Well, wasn't that the most Sunderland thing in the world to do? We shouldn't even be surprised that we followed up a 4-0 win with a 4-0 loss, knowing that a win would have taken us outside the relegation zone. And we aren't. No Gareth this week, so Stephen, Rory and Craig talked about the game, the squad and the New York trip. The club's New York trip that is. We aren't at the level to be touring...
Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 20 06.02.2017 48:02
We've been away the last few weeks, but what a time to be alive. Sunderland 4-0 up at half time, sticking one up Allardyce and PVA in the process. A massive result, and the bottom 6 looks tighter than a really, really tight thing. No Stephen this week, so Gareth is joined by Rory Fallow and The Sunderland Echo's Phil Smith. There's also the triumphant return of Craig Clark. Hosted on Acast. See ac...

Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 17 19.12.2016 40:37
Four wins in the last seven games and Sunderland are on the brink of safety at Christmas. Who would have thought that would be the case after ten games played? Who would have thought Papy Djilobodji and Donald Love would be imperious during our 1-0 against Watford? A welcome pre-Christmas treat, I'm sure you'd all agree. It's an all WMS affair tonight with Rory Fallow and Gary Foster joining Garet...
Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 16 12.12.2016 34:20

Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 13 28.11.2016 36:03
A defeat to Liverpool - not really that surprising. What would have been surprising a few weeks back is that spirits are quite high on Wearside. What a difference it can make when your side looks like they have a plan... Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 13 21.11.2016 40:55

Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 12 - Live in Manchester! 14.11.2016 1:35:08
The WMS team travelled to Manchester for a special live show during the international break. Gary Bennett and Nick Barnes joined Stephen and Gareth on stage. Just like in London earlier in the year, drink had been taken. Content probably gets progressively more alcohol affected as the night goes on, so sorry about that! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Wise Men Say – SAFC Podcast in association with A Love Supreme – 2016/17 – Episode 7 03.10.2016 44:44
A draw, in a must win game at home to West Brom? NEVER?We should be gutted, we're in trouble. Well, we are a little bit, but it's not often we have anything positive to talk about and a late equalizer produces that for us. Ha'way let's keep going until we lose at Stoke and West Ham at least? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Gareth is off holidaying in Portugal so Stephen Goldsmith and Rory Fallow were joined by former fanzine editor Tom Lynn and Roker Report maestro Gavin Henderson to discuss the awfulness we're all going through at present.
