Deacon Jeff and his wife, Joyce, join host Paul Orlousky this week on God Calling. Deacon Jeff Stutzman was ordained on May 3, 1025.  He is assigned to St. Bernadette Parish, Westlake and is Manager of Digital Strategy and Webmaster for the Diocese. Joyce works for Diocese in the Finance Office.  They have been Married for 23 years.

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. Larry Jurcak, Pastor of St. Mary’s in Hudson, OH.  Fr. Jurcak was drawn to the priesthood by witnessing how his parents interacted with Priests.  He has had some interesting jobs in his years as a Priest  He’s been involved with the marriage tribunal and in assigning priests to parishes.

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. David Woost, Pastor of Divine Word Parish, Kirtland, OH. He describes his emphasis on community involvement by the Parish as a key to its vitality along with the sacraments.  He and his parish are spending 500 days working on self improvement, spiritual, health etc..

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. Christopher Zerucha, Pastor of St. Bernard & St. Mary Parishes, Akron, OH.  Fr. Zerucha remembers being at many Masses in his Grandmother's living room as she hosted priests in town for parish missions.  Fr. made a Teens Encounter Christ Retreat right after he turned 16.  This had a big impact upon him and contributed to his decision to become a priest.

Paul Orlousky's guests are Dick and Chris Russ.  Dick is a well known former TV newsman in Cleveland and is now host and board member for The Rock Catholic Radio.  His wife, Chris, also has a background in TV broadcasting.  They are both devout Catholics and have son who is a priest in the Jesuit order.

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. Thomas Johns, Pastor of St. John Vianney Parish in Mentor, OH.  In 2001 Fr. Johns was diagnosed with lung cancer and was not expected to survive.  With many prayers from his parishioners he did survive.  In thanksgiving he set up a shrine to St. Peregrine at the Parish.

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. John Singler Pastor of St. Mary Parish, Berea.  He and his twin brother, Fr. James Singler, joined the Seminary at the same time and were ordained together.  Fr. James Singler is the retired Pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Cuyahoga Falls

Paul Orlousky's guests are Greg & Stephanie Schutte.  They have been married for 31 years and have seven children, so it's pretty clear they know the work it takes to live a successful married life  Greg is Senior Director of Marriage Works! Ohio.  Greg & Stephanie won the "2026 Radiate Christ Award for Marriage and Family."

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. Neil Kookoothe.  Father had an amazing nearly 25-year run as pastor at St. Clarence Parish in North Olmstead, a vibrant place with tons of volunteers and even a bookstore where Catholics from all over can find inspirational items.

Paul Orlousky's guests are Jacqueline and Conner Curley.  Conner calls himself a hog farmer turned philosopher.  We get to the bottom of what that means,  Jacqueline fell for it.  She strongly supports him in his Catholic based writings.  He is the author of "Remembering Freedom" and often ponders why today society frowns on traditional Catholic teaching and lifestyles.

Paul Orlousky's guests are members of the Ukrainian Catholic Eparchy of Parma, Fr. Vsevolod Shevchuk and his wife Halyna.  Father grew up in the Ukraine before the fall of the Soviet Union.  Religion was persecuted.  He was sent to the USA for seminary.  Before ordination, he was tutoring Helena in English.  They fell in love and were married.  Then he was ordained.

Paul Orlousky's guests are Carl and Sandy Monday. Carl was a Cleveland Investigative Reporter with TV Channel 19. Carl had a stressful job, and Sandy has been there for more than 50 years.  How does their faith, and their lasting commitment to one another ease the stresses of life in the public eye.  And how did a tragedy guide them through heartbreak to increased faith 

Paul Orlousky's guest is Deacon Matt Lawler. He is assigned to the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Diocese of Cleveland.  In his "other life" he is a licensed professional engineer and currently works for a consulting firm downtown where he specializes in bridge design and inspection.  Discover how he discerned his call later than most deacons.

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. Greg Olszewski. Talk about an enthusiastic Priest.  Father Olszewski is all of that. He had a later calling to the seminary after years as a newspaper reporter.  After stops at St. Ambrose, and helping the formation of Mary Queen of the Apostles in Brookpark, he’s now Parochial Vicar at both St. Joseph and St. John Neumann in Strongsville, OH.

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. Vincent Hawk. Fr. Hawk is a busy guy. He spent his first 15 years in Loudinville, a fairly rural setting, and is now in booming Avon, OH as Pastor of two parishes, Holy Trinity Parish and St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Parish and their two schools. It’s quite a workload and he loves it.

Paul Orlousky's guests are Dcn. William & Millie Prebel.  Dcn. Prebel was ordained this May 3rd and serves at SS. Cosmas and Damian Parish.  He is also a Senior investment advisor at PNC Bank.  Millie is a Cosmetologist and was involved in marketing and teaching.

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. Bob Sanson a retired priest in the Cleveland Diocese. He has a few angels in his life, now he’s one to others. He has published his autobiography titled “The Real Father Mulcahy."

Paul Orlousky's guests are Deacon Scott and Julie Cerrito.  Deacon Cerrito serves at St. Francis Xavier Parish in Medina. He’s a former motorcycle policeman and recovered from a serious injury, as always with the support of Julie. Being a deacon is a "job" that requires a supportive wife and family.

Paul Orlousky's guest is Erin Hathaway, Executive Director of Zellie's Home, Cleveland, OH, a place where mothers with no place else to go can come and receive more than a place to stay.  The women live in community and are treated with dignity as they take part in a safe learning environment. 

Paul Orlousky's guest is Fr. Jeffery Lindholm, Parochial Vicar of St. Barnabas Parish in Northfield and Our Lady of Guadalupe in Macedonia. OH.  Fr. Lindholm was ordained in 2025.  He is a thoughtful guy who says simply, my ministry is guided by the Holy Spirit.

Paul Hedman, Parochial Vicar of The Church of the Epiphany, Coon Rapids, MN.  He was once the youngest priest in the Diocese of St. Paul Minnesota.  He offers a unique view of the church and its outreach to the millennial generation.  He is serving in the Minnesota Army National Guard, in the 134th Brigade Support Battalion.
