It's Mother's Day! Naomi Cowan (CEO of Equip ... www.equip.net.nz) is a member of Windsor Park who's career has been spent helping people to grow in themselves. This message encourages us to not only be grateful for those who have nurtured us, but to put that into practice by nurturing others.

Windsor Park is a Baptist church, meaning we have a rich history that has a global reach dating back just over 400 years. In this message, Pastor Grant outlines what are the essentials of being Baptist, which is especially good for those who don't know but who are part of a Baptist church! This message grounds our identity as brothers and sisters in Christ in the church that we call home.

The Trinity has been one of the most debated parts of Christian theology for over 1,700 years. In this message, Pastor Grant doesn't quite provide all the answers (because the 'discussion' will continue), but he does raise the importance of the trinity as an essential part of our faith. Walking through Acts 8:26-40, Christa McKirland (a faculty member at Carey Baptist College) looks at how the Spirit is involved throughout the story of the pursuit and inclusion of the Ethiopian eunuch. In this passage, we see God’s love for the world, God’s love for the person, and how God equips us to be agents of love for the world.

In Week 3 of our 2024 vision series, Grant shares about Jesus' teaching on the kingdom of God, using the Parable of the Weeds to show what our role is in being part of God's mission in our world [community]. 

In his second message about WP's vision in 2024, Grant teaches us some lessons about the character and passion of David in the most unlikeliest of situations - an ongoing area of growth for all of us as we tackle what's on front of us this year, both as individuals but as a church.

Grant opens up his 2-week vision series for 2024 by looking at a familiar, but challenging story from John 4 where Jesus gives us a model to follow in his interaction with a Samaritan woman - growing in our character will help us point people towards Jesus (the living water) this year, and every year.

In the final week of our summer series, Habits That Keep Us Growing, we hear from three Windsor Park members with 232 years of combined life experience! Heather, Paul, and Stephanie will share about the habits they've adopted through their life that have helped them grow into lifelong followers of Jesus.

Caleb takes us into 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 as he encourages us to adopt a life 'in the playground' of developing habits that both help us grow and help us become people that help grow the kingdom of God.

Heather talks about some of the habits she's used to build her spiritual strength, and what she's currently putting in place. All her habits have been about making space for God - something we could make more space for! A challenging message with a practical challenge, as this whole series is.

Ethan looks at the five h abits of highly missional people by using the acrony m, B.E.L.L.S, which stands for Bless, Eat, Learn, Listen & Sent - five habits that will make us intentionally missional people in 2024.
