While We're Still Here
Discussing dying and death isn't typically a preferred topic. The thought of bringing it up can feel overwhelming. How do we share with those in our inner circle? The more we acknowledge that 100% of us will die, the more likely we are to share our thoughts about end of life choices. We would share our wishes, fears, and concerns about end of life by starting the conversation with our people. We can work at leaving nothing unsaid with those we love. We can empower others to do the same. Let's discuss how to live for today knowing that we all will die.

Both elements of the phrase, whimsy and tears, have b...

There are so many reasons that I have come across over the years about why I don't talk about dying and death, and now I'd like to open a conversation with my listeners, to talk about hard things; to say what needs to be said to whom we need to say it, before we die.
