While We're Still Here

Society EN ↓ 137 episodes

Discussing dying and death isn't typically a preferred topic. The thought of bringing it up can feel overwhelming. How do we share with those in our inner circle? The more we acknowledge that 100% of us will die, the more likely we are to share our thoughts about end of life choices. We would share our wishes, fears, and concerns about end of life by starting the conversation with our people. We can work at leaving nothing unsaid with those we love.  We can empower others to do the same.  Let's discuss how to live for today knowing that we all will die.

Leaving a Legacy is So Much More Than Money 15.09.2026

How do you wish to be remembered? You don't have to wait until you're dead before the important people in your life hear your thoughts. I shared some of mine in this episode and, yes, there are tears.  Merriam Webster has the definition, but the two people I have quoted in this episode can bring the meaning of legacy to a more personal level.  https://thelegacytexas.com/what-is-a-legacy/...

Is This Life Support? You Decide 11.12.2025

Artificial External Life Support is a combination of medical interventions implemented when a person is unable to breathe on their own or when the heart cannot pump blood on its own, or organs need support to function.
