Managed to catch up with James who is on a mission with the Outward Bound Trust to give more young people an outdoor education. Cracking conversation about adventure, maps as a metaphor for life. The CEO of The Survey Association Rachel sat down with me to talk music and adventure plotted clearly on a mapping background. A master of creativity and doing, it was a pleasure to talk to Rachel and create some sparks of ideas on how to promote our shared profession of Survey to a wider audience.

In my opinion Sean was SPAR back in the early days of Reality Capture. We last caught up for his Spatial Reality Podcast, but now the time was right to see how Sean would use maps to go from Portland in Maine to New Zealand, very spcifically, Fiordland in New Zealand.

Nick and I go back a long way. The head to head, Photogrammetry v Laser Scanning in 2006 was probably the first time he out-classsed me with his story-telling. He continues to do it today. Nick is a parallel entrepreneur, a wonderful thinker, and a passionate advocate for the wonders of outdoor education and outdoor work.

I was embarrassed to invite award winning radio producer Simon Ritchie on to the podcast, but I was certain he would dismiss my concerns and be up for the chat. I wasn't wrong. It was awesome. Maps and Radio. It's just a different interpretation of Space & Time.

He and I have spent more time getting to know each other online than we have in person. We should probably fix that, it might be a riot ;-)
