Entering into God's rest is trusting, leaning, depending on His words, Way, and promises that he demonstrated through his son, Jesus Christ. God himself rested on the seventh day of creation; we must do the same both mentally and physically. An believer must make the time to sit, listen, meditate, upon the Word of God. Renewing our minds to shift our mindsets and perspectives from carnal thinking to the Kingdom of God thinking.
