Today we're looking at the sin of "asserting ourselves to be wise," when in actuality, we are fools. This is the third program looking at the power of God, and the message of the Gospel. "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, both to the Jew first and to the Greek. (Rom 1:16)

We continue our verse by verse study in Romans. Today we look at Paul's "obligation" to preach the Gospel. I am a debtor both to Greeks and to barbarians, both to the wise and to the unwise. (Rom 1:14) So, as much as is in me, I am eager to preach the gospel to you who are in Rome also. (Rom 1:15)

Today we look at 2 Thess 2:4, and the antichrist sitting "As God," in the temple of God.

Through whom we have received: 1. Grace 2. Apostleship "... through whom we received grace and apostleship for the obedience of faith among all the nations for His name, (Rom 1:5) among whom you also are the called of Jesus Christ: (Rom 1:6) To all those who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ." (Rom 1:7)

Good, evangelistic program. Certainly every program should be, amen? Through whom we received GRACE. "...Through whom we received grace and apostleship for the obedience of faith among all the nations for His name," (Rom 1:5)

Today we look at the "Spirit of Holiness," and all of verse 4. "...Who was declared Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, (Rom 1:4)

"...Concerning His Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh, (Rom 1:3) who was declared Son of God with power according to the Spirit of holiness by the resurrection of the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord, (Rom 1:4) Today we look at 2 statements: BORN and DECLARED . BORN of the seed of David DECLARED what He has always been--The Son of God!

Today we start a verse by verse study of the Book of Romans. The theme to Romans is The Righteousness of God. Key verse 1:16--"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes, both to the Jew first and to the Greek."

Today we look at this highly controversial and often misunderstood doctrine, "The Baptism of the Holy Spirit."
