In our series, "Asking for a Friend", we are diving into tough topics ultimately to uncover the truth of God's word on these matters. 8th grader, Jackson Galet, sheds light on why we feel distant from God, and how it's never God that is distant, it's usually us!

In this week's Student Discussion, Avery and Caleb discuss Senior Night with two of our seniors, Ashley and Bella.  They discuss the importance of the Bible, how they have developed time with God over their high school years, and why we can have confidence in God's Word.  

This week at Reckless is Senior Night.  Our seniors led the service, including the message talking about why the Bible matters.

In this week's Student Discussion, Avery and Charlie talk with Ava and Madison about what they do when they feel disconnected from God, or when life gets busy.  They also discuss why they can feel like God is distant or silent and what to do about it.

This week, we look at another key question of faith that many of us have felt: Why does God seem distant or silent?  What things can help us in moments when we wonder where God is?

In our last week of our series "Live Sent", we talk through the question of what is our mission and purpose as believers? How do we run the race of the Christian life well? In Acts 20:24 Paul proclaims, "24 But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel...

How does Jesus respond to our doubts? Does he shun us away and become angry with us? Does he slap us over the head with Bible verse and tell us to have more faith? In John 20, we see Jesus respond to the doubts that the disciple Thomas was struggling with.  If you're having doubts, know that Jesus does not turn us away, and he is not afraid of our questions. 

What is God's view for sex and sexuality? This past Wednesday we addressed this tough topic at Revolution ultimately to see what God's word has to say on this matter. 

This week, we look at a huge question...why is there suffering?  Why do we experience moments of pain and brokenness?  Todd gives us a few answers and then interviews Kurt and Denette Schaer of Broken for Better Ministries.  They talk about the suffering they've experienced over the past year and how they have chosen to trust in God's goodness through it all.

In this week's Student Discussion episode, Avery and Charlie take over as hosts and talk with Caleb about Jesus being the only way to God.  What makes that controversial?  Why does His death matter so much?  How does it prove His love and sacrifice and prove that He was God?   They also discuss which is better - the beach or the mountains.   If you like to hear a great theological discussion...

This week, we begin our final series of the school year in which we will answer big questions about life and faith.  Tyler kicks it off by talking about Jesus being the only way to God.

As we finish our series on love, Julie talks about the enduring and faithful love that God has for us.  Through her own story, she helps us see that God will never give up on us.

Live sent week 4. Does God see us in our suffering? Does he care? Acts 14 shows us that God grows us through trials and he is with us all the way through them. He also understands us because Jesus suffered greatly himself. 

In our Live Sent series we're diving into the book of Acts to see what it looks like to live on mission. What was the early Church like? How do we live on mission with others?

Week 3 of our "Live sent" series. Does God only save those who have it all together? Does he only save "good people"? We see in the story of Paul coming to Christ that the Gospel is good news for bad sinners.

In the 50th episode of our Student Discussion for Reckless, Caleb talks with Devyn and Gabrielle about God's unconditional love for us and the conditions we put on the love we show others.  They also discuss the benefits of Daylight Savings and they determine...they don't know.

This week in our LOVE IS series, we look at what it means to "keep no record of being wronged."  In a cancel culture, relationships can be quick to end because of someone saying the wrong thing or doing the wrong thing.  Is that how Jesus expresses his love towards us?  

In this Student Discussion episode, Caleb talks about the beginning of our new LOVE IS series with Corey, Makayla, and Bailee.   What is love?  Do students today understand what true love is?  How difficult is it to love selflessly just like Jesus loves us?  They also discuss the differences between how guys and ladies express and verbalize love.

This week at Reckless, we begin a brand new series called LOVE IS.  Love is something we all want and believe is important.  But what exactly is it?  Who gets to define it? And how can we best understand what love looks like?  

Our team of 67 high school students and leaders just returned from a week-long missions trip to Nicaragua.  We recap the trip, talk about what God did, and how our students were impacted.
