I spent some time today visiting some of my favourite paintings in the National Gallery of Victoria. I had just finished at a very wholesome and meditative hands on sewing workshop, and in a state of awe I found the sense of space and the sound in the gallery to be mesmerising. This week experience overcame creativity. I’m still on a creative dry spell (hence the title), but trudged forward and might have put together one of my favourite creations this year. Spent the whole week trying to find an angle to crack this week’s beat. I started at 120bpm I believe with something really not similar, slowly crept to 110, then 100 and settled around 90bpm for Treacherous weather....

So this is another track with some DadBoy-inspired techniques. For this one, I recorded a few tracks (I think the first arp, the bass and the first lead) double speed and with some added brightness.
