078: Portraits, Portrait & Posting on Instagram 29.06.2026 1:13:51
Believe it or not, we’re pretty much halfway through the year, so this episode is a mixture of catching up with recent weddings and reflecting on how we’re feeling 6 months into 2026. Things are looking pretty symmetrical for Tom with half of his weddings already shot and pretty much the same left to go. Chris is a different story altogether with only a handful of dates under his belt so far...
077: Is this the real reason we're getting ghosted? 08.06.2026 1:15:27
There’s no denying the enquiries are harder to come by and ghosting is more prevalent than ever, but have you ever considered that we might actually be the problem here?? Put yourself in a couples shoes; they sit down to plan a wedding and contact vendors - they’re met with huge enquiry forms to even get pricing, insistence on video calls before they book and that’s after they’ve navigated throu...

It’s another guest episode, and this time Tom & Chris are joined by Steve; a wedding videographer under ‘Blue Ridge Films’ and also the creator of the super-handy Mic-Mags and the brand new Prelude app for wedding suppliers. In this episode we dive into how the ideas for Mic-mags came about, what they are and how a simple coloured magnet has become an absolute game-changer for videographers...
075: Are you Consistent, Stale or Consistently Stale? 04.05.2026 58:26
It’s a bold question and not something that we’d probably want to admit to ourselves, which is why it’s a conversation worth having. When you’re photographing something like a wedding, that’s a fairly repeatable structure, it’s easy to shy away from being creative and relying on consistent ‘easy wins’ that might keep our couples happy, but leave us feeling creatively empty and tired of the same...
074: Lazy Photographers, Pricing Gaps & Are Content Creators Coming for Your Job? 24.04.2026 1:03:57
The boys are back (and in a new room!) for another episode of the pod and this one has an interesting little twist… Tom & Chris prepared questions for each other, but without the other seeing them beforehand.so, the answers you hear are all 100% genuine reaction and opinions with no preparation or thought to the answers allowed. The questions asked cover a range of industry topics such as: -...
073: Balancing Business with Adoption 07.04.2026 1:31:21
This week we’re welcoming our first guest of 2026, the wonderful Adam Lowndes. Most of you will know Adam from his prolific BTS content that he posts on TikTok that and amassed him an impressive following. Adam’s friendly and open-book approach has also helped him build a wonderful online community amongst photographers, which made him the perfect choice for someone we’d love to have a convers...
072: Holidays, Analogue Living & Building a CRM 23.03.2026 1:05:43

In this episode we both talk about the takeaways from our endeavours as well as coming together on a really lovely chat about analogue living; some...
071: Don't Turn into a Crab! 09.03.2026 44:48
Are you scrolling through Instagram right now and feel that everything just looks the same?? It feels like wedding suppliers are all jumping on the latest trends, buying the latest presets and copying the last big reel that went viral. We know it’s a wild ride in the wedding world right now, but what if you stopped chasing what works everyone else and shared what speaks to you ? We’re called...
070: What to do when you can’t work together 16.02.2026 1:09:13
In an ideal world, wedding suppliers will all get along, make friends and be able to work in harmony, even if you only met for the first time on the day. Sadly that isn’t always the case and we’ve probably all got a story where we’ve worked with someone who just doesn’t want to play nice. As a podcast that’s hosted by both photo & video co-hosts, we think we’re in a pretty good positions to ha...

066: Is it Worth Being Self Employed? 15.12.2025 1:11:43
It’s fair to say that most wedding creatives work for themselves - so what better topic for a December episode than a good chat over the myths, wins & realities of running your own business in the wedding industry? The Christmas tree is up, but the gloves are off when it comes to sharing the honest truths of self employment. Whilst we’re definitely not qualified experts in business (or acc...

062: Our Views on Content Creators 22.09.2025 1:21:31
Following on from our recent episode around the issues of every supplier wanting to get BTS right now; we decided it was the right time to share our thoughts, views and experiences of working with content creators, whose soul purpose at a wedding is to capture ‘Content’ for the couple that’s hired them. The rise of content creators across weddings in 2025 has been pretty dramatic and the genre...
