Web Tales a Spider-man Podcast

Last issue, Spidey was left in a watery grave in the sewer courtesy of The Shocker. Can he escape and stop old shockie's plan to blackmail the city? And will Mary Jane forgive Peter for abandoning her and Jonah's party?

After dumping his clone's corpse off, Peter is off to a new adventure, at J Jonah Jameson's party. Old skinflint is nickel and diming everything when suddenly the power goes out and a new mystery begins!

After defeating The Jackal and the Spider-Clone, Peter starts to question whether or not he's the original Peter Parker. But he doesn't have much time to mull over it because he's getting attacked by The Vulture, Sandman and The Kingpin. How will he deal with his identity crisis as well as this trio of attackers?

On his episode of Web tales Marc and Batch recap one of the most influential Spider-man issues ever with the first appearance of the spider-clone who would eventually go on 20 years later to become Ben Reilley the Scarlet spider. 

The mystery of who is The Jackal is finally revealed!!!

In this action-packed episode of Web tales we see the team-up of the century as ned leeds and peter parker try to get to the bottom of clone gwen stacy and tarantula is back to dropkick spidey into oblivion.  all this and we find out the identity of the Jackyl... i still say it's the dean. 

The Scorpion wants Spider-Man!!! And how's he going to get him? Well by threatening poor little Aunt May of course, who's in the hospital for the 1,248th time this issue. How is Peter going to get out of this one?

Peter doesn't even have time to deal with Gwen's return from the dead. The Scorpion is let out of jail and what does he do immediately? Why back to crime. How will Peter deal with one of his oldest foes returning and his dead girlfriend returning from the grave?

We're back to doing ASM issues! This week, Spidey still has to deal with The Cyclone (more like Le Cyclone) and save Jonah and Robbie. But when Peter gets back home, he's going to have a bombshell of a surprise!

In part 1, Spidey fights a bunch of robots and part 2 a bunch of statues. Sorry, no Doc Ock or anyone like that this time folks.

We're continuing on the commentary train, this week on another episode of Spidey '67. In part 1, Spider-Man battles Dr. Magneto, and no it's not the good Magneto. And in part 2 he faces off against a guy who impersonates the Prime Minister of a country that doesn't exist. They can't all be winners folks...

It's crossover week here on Web Tales with special guest star James from Avenging Tales! We take a look at another Spider-Man commentary. In part one, Spider-Man has to battle a character who would be considered racially insensitive at this point as well as a man that should have been Kraven. In part 2, a purple hooded man has robot women bring him shrunken furniture, that's the jist of it.

Mysterio is back but how is that possible? He supposedly died in prison. Is Spider-Man fighting a ghost?

Just as Spidey crashes the Spider-Mobile into the river, he starts having visions of Mysterio as well as all his other villains. But are these apparitions real, or does Peter have another session with a shrink?

The Jackal has captured Peter and installed an arm disintegration bomb. His mission: bring Spider-Man to the Jackal otherwise Peter's arm goes bye bye. How will he get out of this one? If that isn't enough for you, he still has the Grizzly to content with, who still has a bone to pick with Jonah.

The Grizzly makes his debut and Peter is trying to find a new apartment, nuff said!!!

After getting kicked out of his apartment, Peter needs to find a new home, and the only person who has a room available? Flash Thompson!! Can Peter survive living with his former foe? And also The Mindworm, a new D grade villain who looks like Victor Crowley in short shorts.

Green Goblin isn't messing around! He's kidnapped 3 of Peter's closest people, Aunt May, Mary Jane and Flash Thompson (he's a friend ?!?!) and attached a bomb to one of them. Spidey has to choose the right one, otherwise, someone dies!!!!

The Green Goblin, Spider-Man, and Peter Parker's, most deadly foe is back! But how is that possible, Spider-Man saw him die? Unless there is a new Green Goblin.....

Marcey is back to join us this week for another Spidey '67 commentary! On this episode, the Rhino gets the whole thing as he tries to steal parts to make some kind of machine. Did I mention his hideout is in the rhinoceros pen at the zoo!!! Listen on true believers!!!

We're diving back into ridiculous 60s Spidey comics. After complaining about truckers blocking the Canadian capital, we jumped into part 1 where Electro tries to steal all the electricity in New York. Then in part 2, we get a Z list villain, Parafino, who can turn people into wax statues, and can throw globs of goooo.... these episodes are getting weird.

Spidey's got a gun to his head courtesy of The Punisher! How will he get out of this one and still be able to fight the Tarantula afterwards?

It's another first appearance this week, this time the terryfying Tarantula has his first encounter with the web slinger. Peter tries to take a nice afternoon cruise with his friends but gets interrupted by The Tarantula and his 2 goons as they rob the guests on the cruise. What's worse, Spidey is working with an almost empty web fluid cartridge, how can he possibly stop this caper!!!
