Web Tales a Spider-man Podcast

The Tarantula is back and this time he has an unlikely partner: Kraven The Hunter. How can Spider-Man stop both villains!!! Luckily, the K-Man and Taranty don't like each other very much, so some comedy will ensue from their interactions.

We here at Web Tales love to try out new things, and this week we're jumping into a whole new series, Spectacular Spider-Man!!! And who better as a villain for Spidey to face than the deadly Tarantula (actually there's a lot of better villains)!!! Can the Web Slinger stop Taranty from kidnapping the entire city council?

The Kingpin has successfully drained Spider-Man's life essence and brought his son Richard back to life!! But what of the web slinger, will he even be able to survive the night after this? And where does Dr. Connors fit in with all this?

We're back from our holiday hiatus to bring you back the worderful world of Spider-Man comics. This week, the Kingpin returns and he's after Spidey, but he doesn't want him dead, but he does not necessarily want him happy either. Listen to find out what Mr. K wants with the web slinger. To celebrate, we decide to get officer Logan to take a day off of work and drop by so we could each discuss our top 10 Spider-Man villains. The Vulture is back, but this time he sounds French and likes to hang out in clocks. And in part 2, Spidey battles shadows and it takes him way too long to figure out he should be using a flashlight.

In this episode we get another couple of Z class villains for animated Spidey to fight. In part 1, he has to deal a variant costume from the PS4 game. And in part 2, we got a dude in a purple costume that shoots sticky stuff. The stuff of legends people!!

In part 1 of this episode, The Rhino is looking for gold! His mission, melt down all the gold he can find so he can make a statue of.... himself..... In part 2, Spidey battles 2/3 of The Enforcers (Ox, Montana but no Fancy Dan) who are trying to steal military plans.

Continuing from last issue, Spider-Man, Nightcrawler and The Punisher continue their game of "Who Killed That Guy?". But who is the actual killer? Hint, look at the title.

On this action packed episode of Web Tales, we get an issue of marvel team up that's not even an issue of marvel team up where Nightcrawler and Spidey battle it out at a carnival then the Punisher shows up! Also Spidey has a session with Robbie (he was very happy!).

We're back! With Batch now a married man, we decide to jump back into some Spidey '67. What's he doing this episode? Why, dealing with a flying ghost ship and saving an old theatre from demolishment. Life was easier in the 60s folks. 

We're bringing back the commentaries this week, this time Spider-Man faces off against an invisible who wants to send Jonah to prison (you think they'd be friends). Then in part 2, we learn that snake charming works on webbing also.

Somehow, the Spider-Mobile got itself unsunk from the Hudson and is out for revenge on Spider-Man for those issues of abuse it suffered. How will the wall-crawler escape his own car?

Hammerhead is back alive through the power of science!! And no sooner than Spidey, Doctor Octopus and Hammerhead start their 3 way bout, the goons start to pour in and it's an all out war! Will Peter be able to get Aunt May out of this powder keg?

The good doctor is ready to get rid of those ghost of Hammerhead who's been a pain in his side. But is he doing the right thing? And can Spidey save Aunt May before something bad happen to her, again?

We recently discovered the mystery of the homeless man as being Doctor Octopus!! And he's seeking the help of Aunt May, his former fiancee. Listen to find out how the good doctor survived a nuclear explosion! And who is scared the bejesus out of him?

It's the big day for Ned and Betty!!! While everyone begroans having to go to this wedding, a new villain called Mirage has different plans and tries to rob the guests! Can Peter find a way to sneak away and stop it as Spider-Man?

Jonah is on assignment with Peter but it all ends very quickly with the introduction of a dead scientist. Peter is determined to find the killer as this scientist was a friend of Dr. Science. So he checks out the new super crime computer and finds 3 suspects. Will Spidey be able to find the real killer?

We're finally at the end of this storyline that we thought would be 1 issue, but stretched out to 3. Because Johnny Storm is a horrible friend, Spidey has to hitch a ride on a helicopter to the Himalayas to find the Inhumans and ask them what the hell this time bomb gimmick is all about. We then go back to the future where Spidey and The Inhumans take on Zarrko and Kang to finally save the Avenger...

Old Shell Head takes a powder this week and tags in Human Torch to take his place. While Kang the Conqueror and Zarrko the Man of Tomorrow monologue to each other, Spidey and Torchy have to stop 3 time bomb that threaten to regress the planet back to the Stone Age. 

This episode is dedicated to Harry Jackson who sadly passed away on July 29th. He was a good friend to Logan and beloved amoung the geek community. To honour him, we will be featuring a team up between Spider-Man and Harry's favourite character Iron Man. 

We've got a bonus episode for you Spider fans out there! At San Diego Comic Con a couple of weeks ago, Marvel dropped a bombshell and announced their phase 5 lineup and part of phase 6. On this episode, Batch and Marc will discuss their thoughts on the upcoming projects and what we're looking forward to and what we're mostly ambivalent towards. It's going to be an interesting topic so tune in Web...

We're bringing back the Marvel Team Ups and this week, Spidey teams up with The Cat. Their enemy ; The Man-Killer, the embodiment of everything certain "men" think a feminist is. 

After Spidey mourns the death of Professor Science by beating up some muggers, he has to deal with The Sandman, who's back and with that terrible costume! Also, who is the mysterious drunken homeless guy who's running away from an unseen assailant? 

What happens when Spidey has to save a scientist's daughter who got kidnapped by Jack Nicholson? FOOTBALL!!!!
