We Have Fun

Look, we cut out like a half an hour of this episode and it’s still long. We tried. There are, unfortunately, some audio issues with popping and fizzle, both technical terms, that Alan claims is “our fault” but we don’t pay him for criticism. Hell, we don’t pay him at all. Rest assured, anything wrong with this podcast is like 99% the Scribes fault. Anyway, we cover some good distance in this one...

A pretty local episode, but we wouldn’t put it up if we thought everyone else would hate it. Pretty classic “The Fellas just say actors names for an hour” pod. Talking some ancient lit and historical fiction, too. Really covering some ground. 

The Fellas are back, and firing on every single cylinder. Talking the good ol days of social media, before everything was memes, nothing was taken seriously, and everything was bad. Also talking a lot of TV and cinemas for the babies of old. Get in there! 

It only feels right to admit that the opening bit goes on way too long, but the Fellas get into a good music talk, and the Babies always like the good music talks. Real meeting of minds there, some BTS discussion. Behind the scenes, not the Kpop band. Or maybe...haha no...but...

Well, better late than never. The Fellas are back in town, and truly haven't missed a beat. A little dated, but there's fun stuff in there. We missed you as much OR GREATER THAN as much you missed us. Get in there, babies. Have a time. 

The Fellas talk their July 4th, and some very wholesome (cute, frankly) nerd talk, as well as giving some pod updates that you won’t want to miss. Get in there, Babes. 

The Fellas retread some old lines, talk a little about the utter state of TV, some reading quick hits, and really some of the dumbest conversations you’ll continue to ever hear. 

The Fellas get right after it after a great little giggle fit. Start off real strong with submersible talk, then moving eventually into Goosebumpstalk, and then they reminisce on the perhaps the greatest summer of their lives. Really, this pod is just a lot of talking. Fair warning. 

The Fellas engage in some of the dumbest conversations you’ve ever heard- you know what we’re doing here. Juice talk, some Pan-Penn banter, the night Doug and Kevin should’ve died, revisiting old animated movies, the soothsaying tendencies of The Fellas, and we go WAYY back with some IMDB searches. 

The Fellas take a little stroll down social media memory lane and discuss the great lengths they used to go to annoy one another. Also, first official episode of Pride 2023. Feels like every year it gets more important. Get on in there, babies! Support your not-straight friends! Kiss your buddies! Just kidding. Unless….

The Fellas discover a new Baby market, talk a little Mark Twain, and Kevin tells a story on the art of the wingman and what happens when it goes terribly wrong. Get in there!

The Fellas talk tough on global happenings and then Kevin has another story about harshed vibes and how a night can really turn on its head. We're starting to see a trend(!!). Lots of good stuff in this one, so get in there. 

The Fellas discuss local nightlife as well as posit a new birthday tradition. 

A LOT of ground to cover. The Fellas want to care so much, but SOCIETY keeps getting in the way. Also, Moana- still divisive? The Rock- is he his own problem? Also, a trip down memory lane vis a vis the toys we played with and the memories we created alone. Get in there! 

Just dudes talking about good feelings and rallying for each other. Don’t get too settled, The Fellas also talk about which cereal they think is the horniest for an unsettling amount of time. Sports talk mixed with a little Rock Talk (just naming bands for awhile. Men, amirite?) and then really bringing it home by somehow mixing everything into a cohesive last thought. Get on in there, babies. 

The Fellas play some interesting mind games, plot some puzzling posits, and just go absolutely rabid on the Joker. Again. 

Honestly not sure who’s more mad- The Fellas or The Babies 

A little live music talk, a lot of Yinzer homage, some toothpaste talk, and as always, the best part is the last 15 minutes. 

The Fellas get to the bottom of what the show really needs, as well as discovering Atlantis and TV shows that had surprising longevity. All the standard stuff you’ve come to expect. 

(Very John Wick voice) Oh yeah, I'm thinking we're back. BABIES. Change happens to all of us, but that doesn't mean we have to talk about it clearly. What's important is that your favorite, dumbest podcast is back and we aim to be more of both of those things going forward, and this episode is a great example of that. Love you, mean it, babes. It's great to be in your ears again.
