You've heard the expression, "hurt people hurt people." The same is true for those whose lives have been transformed by Jesus; "changed people change people." We cannot effectively evangelize to those around us unless we have been changed by the gospel we proclaim.

"In your hearts honor Christ as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you." 1 Peter 3:15a

What if evangelism isn’t starting spiritual conversations, but stepping into ones God is already having? From the very beginning of the Kingdom’s advance, people came to Jesus not because someone forced a moment, but because the Holy Spirit was already at work in their hearts. Our role is to recognize and respond to His leading—and it can change the way we see evangelism entirely.

Most of us want to share our faith—we’re just not always sure how to do it in a world that thinks so differently. The question for us in this Search & Rescue mission is: How do we walk with people wherever they are on that journey?
