Even when he was being crucified on the cross, Jesus asked his Father to forgive those who put him there. The simplicity of forgiveness is that we are transformed into more of Jesus when we pray for and forgive our greatest offenders.

Joseph had to forgive his brothers even when it was difficult. Forgiveness is never easy but it's a calling we have as believers and followers of Jesus.

At times, there are non-essential requirements for "holiness" added on to salvation. On the other end of the spectrum, some believe the gospel does not require a change in lifestyle. What role does grace play in this pendulum swing?

We will face lifelong resistance and rejection to our gospel assignment. People and circumstances do not define the status of our gospel assignment, but instead our sacrifice and obedience to Jesus.

As hero makers, it is vital to know God's voice and act in obedience to what He asks of us. Partnering with the voice of God propels us into His mission with His people, instead of our own agenda.

Through the story of Saul, we see Jesus setting up divine encounters to call people out and then up into their kingdom assignment. We are called to do the same as we partner with God to be hero makers.

We have an opportunity and a responsibility to lead and love the next generation.

Jesus’ fulfilled his family expansion by calling individuals to “come and follow him”.  Jesus approached people with the simple invitation, an invitation to a life of discipleship.
