True freedom is found in Jesus. In this message, we look at how Christ sets us free from sin, guilt, control, and self-reliance, and how walking with the Holy Spirit leads us into a deeper life of surrender, grace, and purpose.

In Romans 12, we see that the victory Jesus has won is not the finish line, but the starting line. God has given each of us gifts to use for His glory, and when we live as living sacrifices, the church becomes a body filled with purpose, joy, and love.

Once we understand the victory Jesus has won for us, we cannot approach life the same way. In this message, we see that salvation is not the finish line, but the starting point of a life sent to proclaim the King’s victory at home, in our community, and to the world.

Because of Jesus, we are no longer defined by sin, shame, or our old way of living. Romans 5–8 shows us that life in Christ gives us a new identity, a new inheritance, and a new way to live by the Spirit as more than a conquerer. Freedom is possible because nothing can separate us from the love of God.

The good news of Jesus becomes even more powerful when we understand the weight of the problem He came to solve. Romans shows us the reality of sin, the holiness of God, and the mercy of Jesus, who makes a way for us to be made right with God. The proper response is not pride or striving, but humility, gratitude, and worship.

God is still moving, and Acts 4 shows us what it looks like when ordinary people stay close to Jesus and respond with Spirit-filled courage. In seasons of change, we don’t have to pull back in fear; we can step forward in obedience and participate in what God is building.

Hebrews 12 reminds us that following Jesus is not just about starting strong, but finishing with perseverance. Whether you’re in the middle of a difficult season, a transition, a relationship, or a fight for your faith, fixing your eyes on Jesus gives you the strength to keep running. He is the pioneer and perfecter of our faith, and because He endured, we can refuse to quit.

In Psalm 133, King David explains that when brothers and sisters dwell together in unity, it is like precious anointing oil flowing down. The Psalm concludes with a powerful promise: "For there the Lord has commanded the blessing" . God doesn't command the blessing everywhere; He commands it "There," at the coordinate of unity.
