Talking the practical side of the Christmas story with Mark Hostetler!  Amazing principles!  

I see a lot of posts where people are stressed out and struggling!  Jeri and I talk about that on this episode.  Don't stress out, Focus on the great things, and Do for others.  May it be an encouragement!  

I asked myself this question recently, "Am I a good son of God".  If we're God's kids, am I caring about Him and thinking about Him?  Mark and I talk about it.  

Steve Sargent and I look at the genealogy of Jesus Christ and some of the people who are His ancestors.  It's messed up and we witness dysfunction all around us.  However, God can still use us no matter how ordinary or broken we may be!  Your past doesn't dictate the future!  

Talk with Steve Sargent in this episode about how we try to control everything but we can't.  We are trying to manage every variable in life yet so many of the variables are in God's department and we have to trust Him!

It says in the Bible where we're supposed to "wait" on the Lord.  We hate to "wait"!  But sometimes you've got to wait.  It takes patience, endurance and hope!  That's life for all of us!  Be patient!!  

Have the post election blues?  Worried about the future?  My life is not based on who the President of the US is.  There are lots of great things for us to focus on and Jeri spends some time with me talking through what's truly important!  

Jeri and I talk about our battle with covid and the importance of prayer, bearing each others burdens, and in general supporting those who are struggling.  We know many have been hit hard in this latest surge.  Many are doing well and we praise God for that and we continue to pray for those who are battling!  Hopefully this will provide some insights and helpful tips!  

We are seeing a collapse of morals and values in America.  We are taking this opportunity to point it out.  Let's be praying for our nation because there are some twisted things that most Americans I know would never promote.  Adam Page and Bill McMinn take on some big topics in this one!

Steve Arsulic and I take on the topic of divorce and especially the tole it takes on children.  We realize many are in this situation and must deal with it.  All you can do is to do your best and be the best example of Christ that you can be, today and in the future.  We talk a lot about what can be done and may it be a help to you!  

Faith is believing but faith also encounters feelings and imagination which may run counter to what we believe on paper.  C.S. Steve Arsulic and I talk about your disposition which is your natural tendency that you bring into any situation.  And the fact is that you bring yourself into every situation and that's a variable we don't always consider.  We see the other people as variables but we bring ourselves into meetings, encounters, discussions, etc.  If there is always a problem, it might be what we're already bringing...

What's the best way to handle temptation - Eric Barfell and I will discuss it.  Let's face it, we all experience temptation on a regular basis and it's good to know how to cope!  

This is a fun podcast on things that we learned hiking through some of our nations beautiful National Parks.  What have we learned being close to nature?  Eric Barfell and I will let you know!!  

Spiritual problems need spiritual solutions.  Mark and I talk about 2 Chronicles 7:14 where God tells the people they can always turn to him when they're in trouble.  And often the trouble comes because we turned away from God.  

Pastor Mark and I discuss not conforming to the world but being truly changed.  We don't want to be changed by the world but to change the world!  We talk openly about the ways we are changing and how it all works!  Change is possible!!  

Teddy Hill did this show with me about being a man!  There are times when we have to be strong and take stands and speak up!  This is just two guys unplugged talking about experiences.  I love how Teddy balances out the conversation!  

Jesus invited all the weary and burdened to come to Him and find rest in Matthew 11:28-30!  What a powerful concept - finding rest!  We chase many things when really, the fulfillment of life comes through a relationship with Christ!  He holds the answer to what makes us thirst!  Interesting talk:) 

Listen to Teddy Hill talk about his wild life before he came to Christ and what it's been like since.  I can tell you from years of knowing him, he's a completely changed person.  He's become what he was supposed to be all along really and making a difference for his family and many others.
