We've got Marco living a lie as he takes Big Gay Tim under his proverbial wing. One year after the events of Time Stands Still Spinner is searching for a greater meaning and Jimmy's searching for inspiration, which he finds in an unlikely source. Nathaniel predicts big things on the horizon for Jimmy and Ellie, whether or not he's correct, time will tell. 

The Wasteland High boys commiserate over the path J.T.'s life is going down and cringe over the life choices they made while they were 16 and in love. Peter will henceforth be known as Degrassi's Brock Turner, and Snake is in the throws of a quarter-life crisis.

Dom and Nathaniel dissect the inner workings of  the latest Craig Manning love triangle in Weddings, Parties, Anything while reckoning with the fact that Joey Jeremiah is 34 years old and tucks his t-shirt into his jeans. Mr. O's done riding the rails and he's back in Toronto, breaking hearts and peddling doobie (literally one, single joint).  Paige smokes her future away as she gets high before the college fair at Degrassi. We meet another new character this season, the gremlin prince, Derek. J.T. and Liberty are with child and Spinner is with Darcy, if he plays his cards right.

We've arrived at season 5 and Nathaniel has found his kindred Degrassi spirit in the new student, Peter Stone. Manny's contemplating body modification and Ellie's contemplating how she really feels about her best friend's ex-boyfriend, Craig Manning. 

Craig's off his meds and on the streets. Caitlin and Kevin Smith are on their bullshit. Ashley's on a plane far, far away from Toronto. Stay tuned towards the midway point of the episode for our patented Character Rankings. 

First and foremost apologies for the audio issues on Nathaniel's end. It's so hard to make perfect art. That being said, in Moonlight Desires we're discussing the complexities of blood donation and homosexual relationships in the the early aughts. In West End Girls we are cursed with the fan-fic of Kevin Smith and a civil war between Paige and Manny.

Ellie's taken to playing cards to make ends meet, even though her boozehound of a mother is  willing to pay her rent if Ellie has dinner with her weekly. Yo.. Modern Love, how the hell are we still stuck in this Mr. O / Paige plot. What are we even supposed to take away from this relationship? Also, we have our very first sighting of Chantay!

What does one even say about Secret? It's a two-parter you must experience for yourself. As for Eye of the Tiger... It's about damn time Spinner face some consequences for his heinous goblin-esque behavior this season.

Nathaniel finally realizes what exactly is going on with Craig after all these years. Is Craig toxic, sure. Is Craig also suffering from a chemical imbalance, you betcha. Although, Nathaniel believes there's a little extra in there messing with Craig's psyche. The B plot  of Voices Carry is a mess. Just pure cringe. Join the Wasteland High boys as we take a trip to Wasaga Beach and through Sean's guilt? I guess? For what it's worth, Back In Black isn't as strong a send off for Sean as it should've been. Neutron Dance is a whole mess. Nathaniel is VERY unhappy about Spanny. Dom is very excited about Crash redux. Both the Wasteland High boys are very uncomfortable about the inclusion of Mr. O.

Time Stands Still is here and while Nathaniel did predict one aspect of these episodes, he still can't believe his eyes. Neither Dom nor Nathaniel can believe such precious real estate in these scripts were given to a rehash of the Caitlin/Joey/Sydney love triangle. Bodies are dropping in the halls of Degrassi and we're worried about Joey Jeremiah's mortgage? Be serious!

Ellie and Sean are cohabitating, and Spinner begins his ascension into his goblin era. Nathaniel struggles to come to terms with the Spinner and Manny of it all.

We covered King of Pain and Mercy Street and while we love Marco, let's be real, the meat of this podcast is definitely the latter half where we deal with the return of Rick Murray. Also, Nathaniel is crestfallen with the demise of J.T./Manny

What's CRAPPENING!??? Season 4 is here in full effect! Paige is taking Dean to court and Craig is driving Joey to the poor house. Nathaniel and Dom take a little time out of the pod to appreciate the generosity of their parents while Nathaniel spills a little tea of the family secrets variety.

Season 3 is coming to a close! Sean is striking out on his own, J.T.'s struggling to ask Manny to the year-end dance while Jimmy attempts to make the night none of his friends (especially Hazel) ever forget. Dom and Nathaniel nearly come to blows as the boys debate over the toxicity of Degrassi's problematic heartthrob, Craig Manning during the Season 3 Character Rankings.

Love is in the air for Marco and Dylan, but more importantly, Nathaniel is here for all things J.T. and Manny and most definitely not here for anything that happens in I Want Candy

Nathaniel gets Rick rolled and Rick rolls Terri right onto some cinder blocks. Dom and Nathaniel discuss the disparity in storylines and heavy plots between the Black and White characters on the show. We also witnessed the greatest battle of the bands in Canadian television history! 

Nathaniel comes to grips with the dire straits Manny finds herself in as well as the very first banned episodes in D:TNG history. Oh yeah, we also cover that really weak Breakfast Club episode that results in two new iconic Degrassi couples.

Here we are at the precipice of the Ash/Craig/Manny love triangle. Nathaniel is riveted to the point of being nearly being mute. In retrospect, Sydney may have been the better match for Joey in this Hallmark-ass Christmas plot. Oh yeah, we also watch This Charming Man, the very lackluster Ferris Bueller's Day Off homage

Ellie's struggling to deal with her mother's alcoholism. Craig's struggling with staying faithful. Terri's struggling with letting setting boundaries for her overbearing new beau, Rick. 

Sean's been cultivating mass all summer, and he's got his eyes on empty calories in stolen candy. J.T.'s had a glow up and has relegated Canada's Milhouse to hanging out when no one of substantial social standing can see them together. Craig takes his first steps into toxicity as he flies too close to the Sun that is Manny Santos whilst fresh off a break up with Ash. Also, maybe don't make nachos...

The Wasteland High boys provide commentary on Marco's landmark episodes, Pride pt. 1 & 2 as they grapple with complacent and overt homophobia of the early aughts and what it means to have free health care in your country and willfully ignore your health. 

Here we gooooo! Season 3 is FINALLY here, baby! Emma's meeting with Shane, CrAsh is in full effect, and Manny's ascended to her second form.

Season 2 has come to a close and what better way to end the year than the same way we started it, with Craig! That's right, it's a two parter featuring everyone's favorite moody, artsy teen. Also, Dom and Nathaniel rank all of the characters based on their season 2 portrayals.
