Sha'Carri Richardson, Naomi Osaka, and Simone Biles have brought the conversation about mental health to the forefront. It's time for us to have some serious conversations about mental health and mental illness.

These are my reflections about the current state of the United States of America.

January 6th, 2021 is a day that will go down in history. There was the triumph of the Georgia election of Warnock and Ossoff and the tragedy of the attempted coup at the United States Capitol. History is watching us. How will we respond? 

2020 has been quite a year. But we can choose to see it as half full, instead of half empty.

The election, the vaccine, and Christmas  are all in the news. Our democracy works and we have two vaccines but we still need The Light of the World. As we light our Christmas lights, Hanukkah menorah, or Kwanzaa kinara let us remember to shine the light of love and good will in everything that we do. Happy Holidays!

There is so much to be thankful for. I am a 37 plus year lupus warrior. It has been and sometimes still is a wild ride, but I am still here.  No matter whaat you may be going through, don't give up hope! God is still Able! Happy Thanksgiving!

The election of Kamala Harris makes it possible for me to say  that 'it's a good day to be a Black woman,'  too many times in my life. When one black woman gets ahead, it's a victory for all of us. I am glad that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris will hold the highest elected offices in the United States. Maybe now we can heal and some work can get done.

There is so much divisiveness right now in America. If we want to continue to be the United States of America, then we need to make some changes.

My thoughts on the last debate and the need to vote

Life is more precious than a car, a house, money, or a wall. How we vote will determine the quality of our lives, both now and in the future.

My take on the debate between Senator Kamala Harris and Vice President Mike Pence, with some other thoughts thrown in.

This is my take on the debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. We have to decide the future of the Democracy of the United States of America. We must vote to protect it.
