Walking in Truth

The Bible says that Salvation is a gift from God. The thing about a gift is that there’s nothing that we could have done to earn it. Since there was nothing we did to earn it, then there is nothing we can do to lose it. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing about the importance of the Free gift of Salvation!

Hypocrisy is something that Jesus actively preached against. He was constantly rebuking the Pharisees for that very thing. As Christians, we should be demonstrating the things that we preach about. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing about living out the Gospel before Sharing the Gospel. 

Have you ever known someone who knew a lot about Football, but never played the game? Knowledge has value, but there's nothing like applying knowledge to your life. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be encouraging us to not only read the Word of God but to carry out its teachings and commandments every day!

Have you ever found yourself being discontent with something or someone? The temporary fix is to try and find something new, but the core issue is one of the heart. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be encouraging us to check our hearts when we find ourselves grumbling, complaining, or not appreciative of what God’s done!

Everyone is living for something. We all have a greater motivator for why we do the things that we do. As Christians, it should be Jesus. He’s the reason that we live in the Holy and righteous ways. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing the importance of having a testimony of a faithful life lived for Jesus. 

During the early church times, the Bible says that they met together Daily. Today, it’s more likely that you only see people at church once a week. In today's Message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing with us the importance of ensuring we are connected as a body of Christ. Fellowship is meant for more than just a Sunday morning. 

Everyone in life has two options, it is to follow Jesus or the world. Today, Pastor Johnny asks which way we are going. Do you choose things that are pleasing in the eyes of the world? Run to God. When you choose God, He will bring you peace and joy that is better than anything the world has to offer.

When we flee something it means we are running away from it. Today, Pastor Johnny says that we must flee sexual immorality. When you choose to listen to God and run from sexual immorality, He starts to change your mind and thoughts. Instead of objects, those around you become children of God.

What does it mean to have faith? Today, Pastor Johnny says we must have faith in Christ alone. When you have faith in something you are saying you have complete trust in what they are doing. God wants you to have faith so that He can shape you into who you are meant to be through Him. Trust in God today!

Can we all agree that joy is an emotion that we all want to feel? Today, Pastor Johnny says Christians can have joy because we are saved through Christ. God wants you to believe in Him so you can have joy. When you trust Christ, you are a new creation in Him. God wants to work through you, all you have to do is believe.

When we surrender to something, it means you stop fighting what is happening. Today, Pastor Johnny says that as a Christian you must surrender to the Holy Spirit. It will cleanse you and allow you to know what is right and wrong in God’s eyes. When you trust the Holy Spirit, you will become sanctified through Christ.

The Holy Spirit is something that is confusing but also a very important part of becoming a Christian. Today, Pastor Johnny says that the Holy Spirit brings Christians together. When you choose to trust God, you are born again in Christ. Being born again means that the Holy Spirit lives in you and guides you. 

So often the leaders people look up to in the world today are haughty, selfish, and unloving. These leaders can even be in the church. Today, Pastor Johnny will encourage you to seek and follow God as you lead in love and humility. When He guides you as you lead, you’ll do well and succeed as God empowers.  

Many times, people serve in ministry and in the church for accolades and attention. You hope that people will notice all you’re doing, and pray that you’re liked and appreciated.  Well, today Pastor Johnny will encourage you instead to work and serve and minister in order to please God alone. God sees what no one else does.

Learning doctrine and theology is crucial in your life of faith.  But, it can’t be all there is to your faith, Pastor Johnny teaches today. Like the apostle Paul, like Gaius, like many in scripture, it’s important to take the wisdom you learn in the word and turn and live it out in your life and take the word to others!

Today, we hear from Pastor Johnny’s message that the apostle John wrote letters to various churches and people talking about God’s truth and love in terms they could relate to. Think of it like peanut butter and jelly. They’re BEST together. Did you know Satan doesn’t want ANYONE to experience Jesus through these two avenues?

Our actions are always telling. They either support or discredit what we believe. In the life of a Christian, we’re not only called to love but also to be discerning because Satan will try to deceive us. In the passage that Pastor Johnny teaches from today, we must pay close attention to the condition of our hearts when it comes to love.

Do you want to be the person who’s always doing good and making a difference in this world? I know I do. If we think about the Christian life, there are two ideas that MUST work hand in hand to accomplish this. In Pastor Johnny’s message, he explains why it’s vitally important to have both truth and love in our lives.

When we properly understand prayer it can be one of the most powerful things in the life of a believer. There is no prayer that goes unanswered. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing about the power that prayer has in the life of a believer. Because of Jesus, we can approach the throne of God with boldness. 

The message of the Gospel is so simple that some of the early church couldn’t actually believe it. Some of the churches that Paul wrote to would try and add things to the Gospel. It’s the simplicity of the Gospel that makes it so good! In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be reminding us of the simple Gospel.

Because of our sin, there was a price to pay to get back to the Father. None of us would be able to pay this price by ourselves. It was Jesus who was able to pay the price for our sins by willingly giving up His life for ours. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be reminding us of the great sacrifice that Jesus made for us.

The main motivator for everything that God does is love. Whenever we look at how Jesus did ministry, it was always motivated by love. This is the same charge that Jesus gave to us as his disciples, to do all things out of love. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be reminding us to love people in everything we do!

We have all gone through hard seasons in this life. One of the promises of Jesus is that in this life we would have many troubles. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing about how doubt can be an invitation to become certain of God’s love. Doubts are normal, but God will always back up His claim with action!

God makes many promises in the Bible. He promises that he will never leave us nor forsake us. His Love endures forever and there is nothing that could separate us from it. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be reminding us of this truth! Even when our circumstances look different, God's love remains the same!

Satan will always try to lodge some pride in our hearts. It may come as entitlement, selfish desire, or the approval of man. Paul was constantly trying to lower and humble himself whenever people would talk him up. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will be sharing about the importance of staying humble in our lives!
