Walking in Truth

A lot of believers today have been misled into thinking that God is okay with their spirituality being a completely solo experience. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will show you that making time to be a part of the church is vital for all believers. In fact, It’s through community that God works in and through you.

Wow, that truth can carry some conviction for some of us. It’s easy to go through the motions of religion without being dedicated and vulnerable enough to really be a part of a church. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will show us why being a part of a local church is a vital part of our spiritual development.

The phrase “finish strong” isn’t a new one. It’s often used as an encouragement and the truth is that it’s hard to keep up your endurance in this race. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will show you how to have the endurance to run this marathon of faith without growing weak and giving up short of the finish line.

The enemy can make just about anything into a weapon. Even grace. Now, more than ever, our world doesn’t like to acknowledge sin, and it’s made its way into the church. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will teach you that God isn’t okay with you choosing to live in sin. You’ve been set free.

In today’s message, Pastor Johnny teaches us that we have to be spending time with the Lord in order to be able to effectively minister to others. Have you ever felt tired and like you just don’t have anything to give? That’s a sign that you’re trying to minister out of your own strength and resources. It’s time to seek the Lord.

As Pastor Johnny continues his teaching series through 2 Kings, he’ll be encouraging you to use the gifts that the Holy Spirit has given you. If you're not sure what spiritual gift or gifts you have, make sure to pray and ask Him to reveal them to you. God’s will is that you use your gifts to help further His Kingdom while on Earth. 

Having sincere faith is essential in order for you to have a real intimate relationship with the Lord. Today, Pastor Johnny will be reminding you that without faith it is impossible to please God. For he who comes to God, must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. 

Always remember, that you’re in a spiritual battle and that those who wage war against God, also wage war against His people. As Pastor Johnny continues his teaching series, he’ll be challenging you to be firm in your faith especially when under attack and persecuted. If the world hates Jesus, the world will hate you too. 

Today, Pastor Johnny will be reminding you that apart from the Lord, you can do nothing. Jesus is the Vine, and you are the branches, if you disconnect yourself from the Vine, you won’t bear fruit. You have to remain dependent on the Lord for strength and direction. Don’t ever think you can do this walk in your own strength. 

 As Pastor Johnny continues his teaching series through the book of 2 Kings, he’ll be exhorting you to come alongside new believers and encourage them. Always remember, you also are a work in progress and should have patience with those less mature in the Lord than you. Purpose to build up, not tear down!

Elijah was a prophet who spoke the truth, even though the message wasn’t always warm and fuzzy. Today, Pastor Johnny will be explaining how Elijah did amazing things by the power of God because God was given the glory. When you allow God to use you as a humble vessel, He’ll do amazing things through you as well. 

 As a Christian, the worst that can happen to you here on this Earth is nothing compared to the joy and reward you’ll receive when you enter Paradise. As Pastor Johnny continues his teaching series through the book of 2 Kings, he’ll be encouraging you to keep focused on the eternal rather than the temporal. 

In our text today, Pastor Johnny will be explaining how King Moab could have avoided a lot of hardship if all he did was humble himself. God is loving and long-suffering, His will is that none should perish and that all would come to everlasting life! Don’t let your pride prevent you from surrendering to God.  

The Bible says that God inhabits the praises of His people, and Elijah knew this and called for worship when he wasn’t in the right mindset. Today, Pastor Johnny will be encouraging you to run to God in worship and prayer when you're feeling discouraged. Especially when you're convicted, run to Him not away from Him. 

Are you still on fire for the Lord, the same way you were when you first got saved? If the answer is no, then the first thing you need to do is examine your life and see if any sin or idol has drawn your devotion away from the Lord. Today, Pastor Johnny will be exhorting you to repent and return to your First Love! 

God never changes, the message of the Gospel never changes, and God's heart towards the wicked has not changed. Today, Pastor Johnny will be explaining how God desires that none should perish and that all would come to everlasting life. The Holy Spirit wants to use you as His vessel to reach the lost world.  

Do you seek the Lord and His guidance when you’re making decisions? We often tend to make decisions with our own intuition and then ask God to make them work. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will show you that seeking the Lord and His wisdom is always your best option when making decisions.

Did you know that women have incredible power to control their spouses? Whether you want to admit it or not, a common phrase is that “although the man is the head, the woman is the neck and can turn the head any way she likes”. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will show you how to use that power responsibly.

Compromising truth for the sake of harmony is one of the greatest issues of the church today. Are you willing to stand up for what's right? In today’s message, Pastor Johnny shows us that there’s no middle ground when it comes to who you are living for. You’re either sold out for God, or for the enemy.

Do you trust God when things are not going the way that you want them to? If you’re like the prophet, Elijah, your tendency is to run and try and take control. Have you ever felt discouraged in your ministry? Well, you’re not alone. It’s something that even the prophet Elijah struggled with. Often, the enemy likes to use discouragement to stop you from being effective. In today’s message, Pastor Johnny will show you what to do when you find yourself feeling down and out.

Do you ever wish you could spare someone from a certain type of pain? That’s what it’s like to be a parent. You can teach a child right from wrong, but when they grow up, they will make their decisions. And like our relationship with God, our Father, we must choose Him. Today, Pastor Johnny tells you to pray for and guide your kids. 

In today’s message, Pastor Johnny tells you that God allows us to go through storms. Ultimately, God allows us to go through these moments of hardship - He wants to know what our faith is made of. Is our faith built on a true testament to God’s power in our lives? Or is our faith made up of words alone?

In your life, you will notice that the world around you becomes more like the days described in the end times. And when God calls upon a man to lead or a woman to serve, you MUST answer. Today, Pastor Johnny tells you that when God calls, it’s up to you to answer. So will you answer God’s calling for you? Or will you ignore Him?
