Vitamins; organic compounds essential for growth and development, sourced and ingested through plant and animal food products, and where one may be deficient, through nutritional supplements. At Tasmania JackJumpers, daily vitamins are an essential part of the High-Performance program. Of course, in their nutritional form, but also as a key part of on-court practice as well. Each practice day, every player completes ‘Vitamins’; an individualized short session with a coach to focus on and nourish whatever might be deficient for each athlete that day.
